If he does well against PSU I think everyone will feel better going into the end stretch. If he plays bad, its just typical JT against good teams.

It DOES NOT MATTER if "he" does well or not or if any other position group "does well". THE ONLY thing that that matters is an OSU win. This is a TEAM sport. This is not tennis or golf.

This proves your lack of knowledge about football. If the qb of a spread team plays poorly that team is likely going to lose. Teams rarely win 10-7 in 2017

Ok, supposed knowledgeable one. What is your definition of "does well"?
You're showing your lack of knowledge by not knowing how Urban Meyer describes HIS offense. It is NOT a "spread offense". Pay attention now, Urban calls it a "Spread Read Option Run First, Down Hill In The A-Gaps Offense".
I'm hoping for a game with Ohio State having a +2 turnover advantage and 3 rushing TDs.
I DO NOT care about individual stats. Neither does Urban, neither do the coordinators, neither do the assistant coaches, neither do the players. JUST WIN. Only those who are not knowledgeable are concerned with the mundane.

The first word Urban uses to describe his offense is "spread." I mean you can't be that clueless. At this point I'm convinced it's a complete act. Anyways, my point is is simple. Unless Ohio St runs for like 400 years Barrett is going to have to pass fairly well to win the game. I don't understand why that is so hard to figure out. Can anyone help me understand why he can't understand it?

Unless Ohio St runs for like 400 years Barrett is going to have to pass fairly well to win the game. I don't understand why that is so hard to figure out. Can anyone help me understand why he can't understand it? "spread" is the first word of TEN words Urban uses to describe HIS offense. I mean you can't be so uneducated that you can't read, buy Urban's book. If you want to hear him say those 10 words in describing HIS offense, all you have to do is google his press conference when he was hired. I dare you to do that, then listen. I know you won't, because then you'd have to admit you're wrong. Per usual you can't answer the the very simple question asked of you. Instead you come up with another two words for how Barrett MUST play.... "fairly well". SO, I ask again, what exactly is "fairly well"? Using innocuous simple 2 word phrases leaves a VERY WIDE window to lay blame. Be more specific than "fairly well" and "does well", if you dare. Here's another VERY easy question you undoubtedly can't/won't answer. Do other position groups need to play "fairly well" to beat Penn State? Does the play calling need to be done "fairly well"?

Apparently you don't know the difference between the word pass and the word play. Case closed. Have a nice night Old Douche.
Oh heck I'll humor you. By pass fairly well I mean he needs to hit a few intermediate to long passes to keep Penn St from jamming the box to stop the run. Also obviously he can't be throwing any picks. If you can't figure out what that means go back and watch the Oklahoma game. That's exactly how Barrett can't play.

Says the chicken shat. AFRAID to be specific when telling us what is "fairly well"? You then say "hit a few intermediate to long passes". How many is a "few"? According to Webster "few" is: 1) A small number. 2) Used to emphasize how small a number is. Most of us know that "few" is more than 2, so you're telling us ALL he has to do is complete 3 or 4 "intermediate to long passes" AND not have any turnovers for Ohio State to win. Nothing about completion % ? Nothing about his rushing yards??
What about play calling? The QB doesn't call the plays. What if mostly bubble screens, swing passes, and 5 yard curls are called?
How well does the O-line have to play? How many rushing yards are needed to win?
How well does the Defense have to play? How many interference and holding penalties by the secondary are acceptable? How many points can the Defense allow, still giving Ohio State a good chance to win the game?.
Enlighten us. Stop acting like a poultry about to have his neck wrung. Be a MAN, instead of an ignoramus wuss.

Ok I am going to make this real simple. Whomever is an administrator on this site better take care of this person or I will take him. You can't beat him, WF is the administrator of this site. He obviously knows Urban Meyer intimately since he continuously tells us what Urban thinks. You can't beat a site admin that intimately knows Urban Meyer. Ask him what color Urban's poop was in the toilet yesterday, he'll know. Sorry to burst your bubble but you can't beat WF, he knows all.

Ms Wasserman Schultz, that picture was one of your better days. I hate to squat feces on your parade Deb, but one needs not know Urban personally. Just read his books and listen to his press conferences. Doing that, the great communicator you are could pass on his thoughts and give me a break. BTW, were you having sex with that Pakistani guy you were paying hundreds of thousands of $s to do IT work?

Lol, J.T. throwing picks is of little concern, he will do what he has done all year, manage the offense with minimal turnovers. Through 7 games, only one Interception and my memory doesn't tell me if it was a tipped pass or for what reason it occurred. 2017 J.T. Barrett IV passing stats:
206 attempts 137 completions 1,827 yds. 66.7% completion percentage 8.88 YPA 74 yd. lg. 21 T.D.'s (currently leads nation) 1 Interception 173.8 QBR 0 fumbles

He is easily on track to improve all his stats of 2014, his best season.

"superior complex" . My knowledge is no greater than scootyDude's, but I don't have to LIE like he does. scootyDude was caught in two HUGE lies about Lexington basketball last year. He got tired of me asking for an explanation of why he LIED. That is the TRUTH of why he stopped reading my posts. scootyDude, the 2 faced LIAR says I constantly argue and rant. When people complain about him arguing and ranting he calls it "discussing sports". Like is done at sports bars.

JT is in for a nightmare next Saturday. Penn St is freaking the real deal. Have a horrible feeling about this game JT will have to pass better than "fairly well" to beat PSU. ALSO.... The play calling will have to be better than "fairly well". The WRs must play better than "fairly well". The O-line must play better than "fairly well". The Defense must play better than "fairly well". If JT is injured in practice this week and Haskins starts, does that guarantee Ohio State a win?

Those players read this site and they will remember what you wrote about them. Sorry to be a downer but you will be blackballed by those QB's from any shin digs with them.

You didn't even try, did you? You jumped before checking how deep the water was. He's put down asked what I would be doing NEXT YEAR, AFTER JT graduates. You're not a good downer, you're even pizz poor at that simple calling. You failed to answer the pertinent query. How was that $200,000/year Pakistani in the sack, or should I say on your desk?

Oh really? Show some proof. I want the best QB on the field that gives us the best shot at winning, and in this year's case, it is clearly and unequivocally J.T. Barrett IV. You got any problem with that, then take it up with Urban Meyer, Ryan Day and Kevin Wilson.

I don't hear any complaining about the QB when Ohio State lost the BCS Title game to Florida. It's becoming more more apparent with every arrest and his hoped for business venture that TS was as high as a kite leading up to the Title game. I originally thought the 20 pounds he gained was from the heisman banquet circuit. I'm told maryjane tends to make one crave food.

Bashing??? Cardale bashed himself for 3 years leading up to JT breaking his leg. It is a FACT that Cardale was on a short leash in the games he won. I can't understand how some can't comprehend the REAL reason Ohio State won the NC in 2014. In the playoffs, Zeke had 6 rushing TDs to Cardale's 2 passing TDs. Cardale only had 8 more passing yards than Zeke had rushing yards. Unheard of in today's game. Just the facts, nothing more.
