The nfl made Cam apologize to that woman reporter for what he said, which was nothing!!!!
But they cant make the players stand for the National Anthem of this great country!!!
Screw the kneelers, the black power sign fools as they did last week in Cleveland!!
Screw the nfl !!!!
I hope a lot more places quit showing the games, like the legions bars are doing in Cleveland

Unlike the whimps at the NFL, NBA hierarchy has some balls on em and laid down the law. There will be no political demonstrations for the National Anthem in this league or be prepared to face severe consequences. As I stated before, the NFL is out of my life this year...period. Some things are far more important than my being entertained by a football game.

Well Douche JR Smith thinks the American Flag doesn't represent what it should and he stood behind his teammates during the anthem. JR, you are one dumb mutafucker. Name one another place where a dumb ***, low IQ athlete can make as much money as you can playing with a ball. GFY JR.

Roger Goodell, I hope you are enjoying the chaotic mess you have allowed to materialize.
Mr. Goodell, you have sent a strong message that political discourse will be tolerated and encouraged for any reason, from this point forward, during a solemn moment that should be unifying all of us as Americans.

The virus of anti-American NFL anthem protests is mutating. NFL players are not content to merely disrespect the Star Spangled Banner. They had a secret closed-door meeting that resulted in the protests being taken to the next level. NFL players are now demanding November be designated as “activism month.” Four players – including Michael Bennett, who lied about the Las Vegas police racially profiling him – sent a letter to Commissioner Roger Goodell asking him to allow them to escalate their left-wing protests in November with the official approval of the NFL. They presented a 10 page memo, outlining the proposal to dedicate the month of November to 'political activism month'. Will Roger Goodell and the NFL allow their format to become mired in a political cesspool?
Stop this bus, filled with bozos, I want to get off!

Well it has been a week since the Las Vegas mass shootings and not a single word said on this site. Gee I wonder why? Could it be that it was done by a 60 some year old white guy? If it were a black man that did this it would brought up how the protesting by athletes was the reason. If it were done by a Middle Eastern man people would come on here and say, "Bomb those towel heads!" This is what Kaepernick was trying to get through to people. We are not equal and until people accept the fact that we are all God's people minorities will have the correct reasons to protest. About 6 of you will call me a left wing (insert derogatory comment). Here's a little fun fact. Of the 5 presidential elections I have voted Republican twice, Democrate twice and substained from the joke that was the 2016 election. Also I voted for Portman and didn't vote for Brown either time. Those are the Ohio senators that have no idea whom I'm talking about

^^ Waste of my day? That's what's funny. I'll be around 8-10 friends(a concept I'm sure you're not familiar with)and we'll have couple drinks eat some food laugh and joke about everyday meaningless BS. When's the last time you hung out with 8-10 friends that wasn't a family gathering?Because I'm guessing friends are few and far between. That's LOL

It's interesting that the amount of fake outrage over the anthem protests is directly proportional to how putrid the football team that they root for is.

Political discourse was exactly what our country was founded on. It is the freedom of speech our Founding Fathers wanted to protect. While it's not the kind of protest I would have started, or take part of, it's a non-violent protest. You can blame Trump and the Media for making it a larger topic than it need be. Honestly, I am just proud to live in a country where a group of people CAN protest against the government in a non-violent way and not have violent consequences.

There is a time and a place for everything and choosing to disrespect our Flag and National Anthem is not one of them. I don't think we can blame the President for this one, he expressed the same opinions shared by millions of Americans. Can't lay this one on the media either, this was a well planned and organized escalation of events. You may be proud, don't count me in your mode of logic. Kneeling or sitting is a blatant sign of disrespect, but the black power salute is a racist, militant form of disrespect.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones made it clear that he prized respect for the flag over team unity: “The main thing I want to do is make it real clear. There is no room here,” he said. “If it comes between looking non-supportive of our players and of each other or creating the impression that you’re disrespecting the flag, we will be non-supportive of each other. We will not disrespect the flag.”
“If there is anything disrespecting the flag, then we will not play. Period,” he said. “We’re going to respect the flag and I’m going to create the perception of it.”
Well, there you have it, an owner has given a direct order to his players. If they have to forfeit due to their conduct, that is insubordination and justification for termination of a contract. Stayed tuned on this one. I see this whole mess blowing up and having potential to put the entire league in irreversible turmoil, that would take years to recover, perhaps never.
Well, what are you gonna do now Roger, boy? If this thing goes to litigation, this league is in serious trouble, you lose large masses of fans, you've allowed players to put football secondary to political and ideological strife, sponsors will want to separate themselves from any attachment or identification with this mess. You had your private meeting with the activists, where you heard the demand (proposal) to dedicate an entire month to political activism. Get me the hell out of here!

You and your multiple usernames remind me of the guy who pledges to never buy an foreign car even though they'll never be able to afford one. It's an empty gesture. You were never going to turn the Browns on in the first place. So changing the reason why after the fact really has no meaningful purpose.

All the sympathetic, knee jerk liberals who jumped into this thing without thinking (which they do quite regularly}, are rethinking the wisdom, consequences and repercussions of their outspokenness. At some point, sanity and reason has to filter back into the thought process....lol

A) the Mike Pence thing was set up from the beginning. Trump even tweeted it. Pretty clever idea actually for the Trumper
B) so it's ok to play for the Cowboys if you abuse women but not if participate in a non-violent protest? Some how I doubt if Dak Prescott is kneeling he sits

Actually, it's going to take a great deal of effort from NFL management to win back fan support that has been lost. I realize you can't force someone's respect, that begins at home, attitudes instilled by parental guidance. These are grown men, a little too late in life to be going through those learning processes of proper behavioral etiquette. I could care less what's going on in some else's mind, their thoughts totally belong to them. As I stated, the NFL is out of my life this year....period. What happens next year, is entirely up to Roger Goodell and his management team, the players union and the management of the individual teams. There is life without NFL football, as much as I love the game, but some things are far more important than football.

NFL players want the Commissionor to designate November as "Activist Month". What the heck has September and October been?
I still say, until they start donating a portion of their overblown salaries and their off season time to their cause, their kneeling is chicken shat meaningless to it.

The NFL has done this to themselves and have nobody to blame but its poopy leadership. By allowing players to wear socks depicting cops as pigs, yet not allowing a team to place small stickers on their helmets or wear shoes honoring police officers shot by BLM in Dallas, has brought this kneeling unwanted attention. I see their ratings continue to drop and rightfully so. I hope they keep dropping. The NBA is next, just watch.
