Lakota by 2 scores or more. That Calvert loss stings but it's also an indicator of how far Lakota's come under Lento. I look for the raiders to take out some frustration on Willard.

Willard can win this game. Just need to stick with what is working and not get ultra conservative. I think they wanted the home win so bad against joe that it affected the offense play calling a bit at the end. 26-21 Willard

I see Willard's confidence level has been improving with each victory they get. They are thinking now that every time they come out onto the field that they are gonna win. When that happens things start going your way. You practice harder, you listen more intently to the coaches, you are more relax and football becomes a lot more fun now. Good luck Flashes.

The Flashes travel all the way to the other side of Kansas this week Have these two schools ever played before? Yes, in the Regional Semis in BASKETBALL, in 1979! Current Upper Sandusky assistant boys coach Paul Gnepper was Lakota's bench boss, and Willard soundly thrashed the Raiders, 80-55. This was Willard's 1st ever win at the Regional level. They lost in the Finals, but won the Regional in 1980 & 1982, finishing runners-up in 1981.

Just want to say as a parent what a wonderful group of kids Willard has. They were very polite and appreciative of the after game meal. Class act out of those kids!!!!
