Expecting a good ball game out of the gate, but with Pleasant consistently pulling away as the game moves on.

Depends on Genoa's D. If they force Pleasant to pass, it will be a long night for the Spartans. If Genoa has a pass oriented offense, it will be a long night for Pleasant. If Pleasant can dominate the LOS, they can win with the run game.

Anyone know what style of O and D Genoa brings to the table? A decade ago they ran the wing-t, but that was a decade ago and under a different head coach.

Surprised Blazer doesn't know that. Genoa is as Genoa was. They beat Fostoria on Friday night with ZERO passes for the game. 461 yards rushing. Plus, their starting QB is out for the year. Their backup is solid, but passing is not their thing. Never has been. Make no mistake. It will be strength on strength in this matchup. Won't be a blowout in either direction. Hard hitting, physical game. Will be a great game to watch.

Don't know anything about Genoa. Don't believe I've ever seen them play. I have watched Pleasant play though. Pleasant is tough against the run, just vulnerable against the pass.

Lets say this they gave the #1 ranked team all they wanted and more.
If anyone thinks this is a good match up I would have to say they are wrong. They run the ball in the wing t from what I have read.
Bad feelings on this one. Hope I am wrong.

Genoa is a good team. No doubt. But they aren't unbeatable.
And Eastwood practically handed them 21 points with 2 fumbles and an INT early on.
Eastwood rallied back to win in the 4th.

Pleasant easily won after first quarter. That Genoa team very one dimensional. Spartans looked good

Expecting a good ball game out of the gate, but with Pleasant consistently pulling away as the game moves on. Good call. It was a close game first half, great first quarter. Pleasant fumbled first play of the game and Genoa took advantage of the short field to go ahead 7-0. Pleasant answered each of Genoa's first quarter touchdowns, and then pulled away. Pleasant had TD runs of 45, 60+, 90, and 48 yards. Got to the outside and turned it on. After Genoa went up 14-7, Pleasant scored the next 41 points.
