Looks like a Bellevue- Clear Fork rematch. Thoughts on location? Tiffin? Ashland?

Since Mansfield lost I would think that the Bellevue/Clear Fork rematch will be at Arlin Field. Arlin I believe holds more fans than what Madison's field does. Congrats Bellevue if I can talk my oldest son into going there instead of going and watch his old high school, St. Paul, we'll be there and watching a good old fashion knock down, leave it all on the field football game. you know those type of games were us old-timers wish we could suit up again.

With all of the games being played on Fridays now it should be interesting to see how the OHSAA selects who goes where.

D4 R14 semifinal
This is a rematch of week 2, which Clear Fork won 20-14 in OT. CF leads the all-time series 3-2.

Francis, who didn't play in week 2, will be the difference. Bellevue by 2 scores

Like Clyde-Sandusky Part II, I see the Redmen wanting to get that bad taste from Week 2 out of their mouths.
I'm calling it....Bellevue, by 3 scores!

CF was lucky to win the first game. They haven't played anyone in the "revitalized" redmen caliber and that includes Pleasant since the first bellevue game. I lok for the redmen to romp.

I'm sure Clear Fork has also improved since week two.

Yes don't sleep on Clear Fork. They have played and beaten some good teams since playing Bellevue including Jonathan Alder, Pleasant, Buckeye Valley, and even Harding. They will be ready to play Bellevue. I bet this one will be really close as well.

They will be ready to play Bellevue. I bet this one will be really close as well. I agree this will be a good game. However, Jonathan Alder was early in the season, Pleasant is division V and went 11-0 beating only one team that won more than half their games and Harding in division II went 6-4 and didn't make the playoffs. Credit to Bellville Clear Fork: The Colts are undefeated including two overtime wins. Clear Fork’s last playoff appearance was in 2010. Holding a 4-12 record in the playoffs. Clear Fork has allowed 10.2 points in nine weeks. Bellevue is firing on all cylinders...and like SBC95 said, Coach Ed will have them ready to romp... Bellevue 28 CF 14 Advantage to the Redmen with more playoff experience and experience of the Hype of a big game.

Actually Pleasant beat 2 teams that won 6 or more games and 2 more 5 win teams before handily beating Genoa Friday. With exception of the Clyde upset, which was admittedly impressive, the only other school with a winning record that Bellevue beat this season was a Toledo school. CF's schedule speaks for itself. They beat 3 playoff teams, a 6 win D2 school, and a 7 win D3 school. Although Bellevue winning this game would not shock me, I think that this will be a dogfight to the end just like the first meeting. Like I had to remind people before the season, don't forget where CF comes from. They've been playing OCC football up until this season. Last season they played Mansfield Senior, Ashland, Lex, Wooster, and Shelby. These kids have been battle tested, playoffs or not.

Bellevue fans coming to Mansfield via Rte 4 to US 30. If you are coming to eat before the game, take the Lex-Springmill exit in Ontario. Every restaurant known to man is there! Arlin Field is on W 4th St, which in Ontario has a Denny's, Charleys, and Speedway on the corners. Stadium is 2 miles east. Parking for away team is off of 4th St, or the lot south of stadium. If you park in the main lot, you have a good walk to the other side of the stadium. There is also a large lot east of stadium at Startek, within 300 yards on left side. Should be a great game. Looking forward to it.

Both teams with hard nosed kids and old school coaches. I give the nod to Bellevue given their playoff traditions. Kids in Bellevue expect to win playoff games.

More scenic that way as well. 😊 And probably quicker than going down 4. I hate going that way.

Dress warm. Game time temp looks to be 29* with 14 mph north wind. First game of the year that has a wind chill factor! As much as I want to see a Shelby-Clear Fork matchup next week at Arlin, something tells me Bellevue wins this one.

I would rather see a Bellevue Shelby rematch, and a closer game.

it doesn't matter who wins this game because whoever wins that Shelby game is going to beat down either one of these teams.
