Sandusky also lost a D1, power5 quality athlete. Predictions kinda go out the window after that. Clyde got real lucky last week... nice try though Real lucky...SMH ...Sandusky never even had a sniff of their goal line ... Sandusky’s defense was doing all they could and did not stop Clyde’s offense from scoring..Quit being butt hurt over a TEAM that was invited to the table and didn’t leave any left overs ... Clydes coaching staff had a good game plan and tonight I believe they will have another .. Good luck Fliers ....Play as a TEAM ..Win as a TEAM You really don’t know much about football, or didn’t watch Sandusky play much this year. They dominated everyone in the SBC (with the exception of a weird week 7 against Norwalk), and had a tough break in the first quarter last week.

I watched Sandusky play Fremont and they squeeked by them.... I seen Sandusky play Bellevue and really wasn’t impressed ... I seen Sandusky play Clyde the first round an Clyde just didn’t tackle... Then I watched Sandusky play Clyde the second time and Clyde came to play and Sandusky didn’t know what hit them.... Now for Clyde today... Yes they got beat .. Clyde played hard and just couldn’t get it done .. TCC will have there hands full when the face Trotwood ... And in all honesty ...TCC would of shut down Sandusky too ... But that we will never know..Maybe next year Willie ....that’s IF Sandusky will be WILLIE good ...

TCC will be in region 6 next season. I don't think anyone in region 10 will miss them.

TCC will be in region 6 next season. I don't think anyone in region 10 will miss them. Yeah, here's a look back at what they've done to the teams of Region 10/8 during their 5 years in D3 2013: Quarter - TCC 69 Defiance 14 Semi - TCC 42 Tiffin 13 Final - Clyde 42 TCC 41 2014: Quarter - TCC 70 Rocky River 48 Semi - TCC 35 Bowling Green 19 Final - TCC 35 Clyde 3 2015: Quarter - TCC 37 Rocky River 23 Semi - TCC 35 Clyde 25 Final - TCC 31 Benedictine 30 - OT 2016: Quarter - TCC 41 Bay 7 Semi - TCC 56 University School 13 Final - TCC 19 Lexington 0 2017: Quarter - TCC 28 Glenville 0 Semi - TCC 45 Clyde 27 Final - TCC vs. Bay 13-1 with 3 Regional Championships, likely to be 14-1 and 4 regional championships after next week

Good season Clyde, it sucks when you run into recruiting powerhouses and the public schools suffer because they are fully invested in establishing programs from grade school and up. These private schools should be in there OWN division.

Fortunately for both our teams streaknation there will be more opportunities next year and beyond to bag a regional title. I wouldn't be surprised if Sandusky does next year. It sounds like you guys will be good for awhile.

A few years back, The coaches & OHSFCA voted in favor of having split championships, Most other states have had splits for years. The OHSAA wouldn't allow it, Nor do they care what the members OHSFCA thinks.

I don't support separation FWIW. I think competitive balance will help with some of the big city schools with lower enrollments(Cardinal Mooney, TCC, Columbus privates etc. playing small community teams like Clyde or Bellevue etc. I wasn't aware other states did separate though.

I don't think competitive balance will have much impact. It just means the private schools will control their enrollment numbers and be very "selective" in who they accept.

I am sure it happens with open enrollment but not to the extent that the private schools have done over the past 40 years. Look at Toledo, wittmer starting getting good and those recruits were not going to the private schools, so they got reported. Obviously the state recognizes its an issue and that's why it's a hot topic over the past 5 years. I am pretty sure St. John's has been caught many times trying to recruit. It sucks when you build a program from top to bottom which includes biddy programs and you develop kids only to get beat my schools who don't even have biddy programs because they just reload like the movie blue chips. It's more of a problem in basketball than football but either way I feel they should be in a separate playoff system. Just my opinion.

Pretty sure Clyde had more than a few Fremont kids on their team... they got no room to talk imo.

The Fremont kids probably wanted to see what it's like to win a playoff game.

What is considered TCC's district? The city of Toledo or the public high school area (Scott HS) that TCC is located in? If it is Scott HS district, then just about all the students would be from out of the district.

Might just be me but it sucks that TCC is playing Bay at Strobel field. Region 10: 1 Tol. Central Catholic (10-2) vs. 2 Bay Village Bay (12-0) at Sandusky Strobel Field, Cedar Point Stadium: Toledo CC
