Interesting. That makes me believe Toledo Whitmer and Olentangy will be at Mansfield then. Nope, at Findlay

I took in the game last night and came away with some critiques of Shelby.
1. The interior of the o-line struggles with blitz pick up. Those three need work if they plan to win state. Armstrong is forced to move too frequently.
2. Mental mistakes can kill ya. I've seen Shelby twice now and each time stupid mental errors have happened frequently and either killed drives or extended drives for opponents. Shelby is trying to win a state title and these things have to stop. Its week 12 how do you not know where to get lined up properly? Repeat these mistakes against Stubenville and it could be over.

Which I assume means Liberty Benton vs. Hillsdale at Tiffin Marion Harding would be a virtually identical travel distance for both schools.

People keep talking about Ashland as a site, but Ashland hasent hosted a playoff game in several years and I'm not sure at this point they are even a site that is approved by the OHSAA. Could be wrong but my guess is if they want the Mansfield area it will probably be Madison that hosts. I would also see Ashland Univeristy before Ashland High school pretty sure the high school and University play at the same stadium Use too! Not any more the University has it's own field and building they built I believe in 2010.

Too bad they didn't make it available for playoff games, as it is a larger and nicer facility than Ashland Community Stadium. On the topic of Ashland University, I caught a replay of their game against Grand Valley State on STO the other day, and it was a great game that AU won on a last second FG. I see they also won today, clinching an outright GLIAC championship.

Shelby looked to pass maybe 13 times in this game and u are basing it on that? Armstrong’s passing numbers through 3 games would indicate the O-line is just fine. These are 17 and 18 year old kids, mistakes will always be made...no O-line is perfect. That said, 2 of the 3 interior lineman u mention we’re all-league performers last year. 1 of them was also all-league as a sophomore. Shelby isn’t trying to win a state title yet...they are trying to beat Bellevue and make school history yet again...

Bellevue: If, and that is a mighty BIG if, they will have to bring in a lot of concrete in to build more stands with that large crowd coming to the game. Don't worry that sorry Football stadium is going to be rebuilt as a Premier Soccer Venue with enormous stands that we expect at Willard Soccer games in the near future. It just won't be ready by this Friday. Drugmart: Like I said before, take the words of wisdom from AREOSMITH: DREAM ON! It's never going to happen.

Bellevue in a BIG UPSET... Ed will have them ready!!! Boy do I wish you were right but about every single thing that could go our way would need to including running some plays that’s currently not on film or in the playbook as predictability kicks you in the butt when you’re facing better teams in the playoffs.

this game won't even be close Shelby by 35. If Bellevue somehow could beat Shelby that would be amazing seeing how Shelby beat them down earlier this season.

Wish half these games were on Saturday night, So we neutral fans could make the trip to some of these games on time. I'd like to go & see Coldwater & Maria Stien, without missing work. Too long of a day for me, to have to work all day, then hop in the car, drive 2 1/2 hours down 3 hr. game 2 1/2 back. Can't do it anymore.

Saw the replay of Shelby vs St Marys. Great line play on both sides of the ball. QB is outstanding. We may be talking about these guys 20 years from now.

Curious as to seating capacity at Community Stadium vs Arlin Field, Madison, MT Vernon or even Findlay etc. Thought maybe this game would have been at a bigger venue. What's seating capacity at BAF? Look for many, many fans from around SBC land to attend this one, weather permitting.

Said on internet, community stadium holds 4,400 Makes no sense to have it at the venue, visitor section is tiny, that’s shelby side

Again I have been to every Ashland home playoff game and several others that have been hosted there and it has never sold out, or come close. There will be plenty of seating for Friday night, and if the weather forecast holds you won't have a problem at all.

They took that many to Paul Brown last year for the Regional Finals against Steubenville. This game is 25 minutes from home. Expect a lot of Whippet fans. Would they consider rolling in extra bleachers? Or consider reserving part of the home stands to Shelby? Probably doesn’t matter as we will sit wherever we want. Go Whippets!!

Again this game won't come close to filling up Community Stadium. They will have extra bleachers along the track, and they will probably give Shelby a section on the home side. If this game draws 4,000 I will be surprised.

Especially with close games and since this team has a legitimate shot at a state title, there won't be much room soon after the gates open. Last week the Marion Harding home stands were full by about 6:30 and that is twice as far seating over 1,000 I'm sure. But like you said before, I guess weather could hold it back a little.

The top line on the bracket is always the home team no matter what their seed is. So if a low seed beats a high seed, they inherit that team's home field designation for future games. It doesn't make a lot of sense, but it's the way the OHSAA does it.
