Bellevue 74 Clyde 54 final Lady Red have clinched a share of the Lake title BB, Thanks for the updates and congratulation to the Bellevue Girls. Norwalk Girls beat Sandusky last night 62-33, I think that was the score. That would set up THE BIG GAME on Thursday in Bellevue for either Bellevue winning the title out right or share the title with Norwalk. Everybody better get there early to a seat cause it will be a FULL HOUSE there. Good luck to both teams and remember this night cause it's something to be proud of and share later in life with your grandkids. Oh I forgot to say something GO TRUCKERS!

Norwalk has taken care of business on its end to face Bellevue for a share of the league title. Good job Truckers!
That being said, this will not be an easy game. A lot of history between these two teams. Norwalk has won at Bellevue a couple of times in the last 6 years (roughly). Norwalk upset Bellevue in the tournament last season - despite finishing the game without standout Jiselle Thomas. Hopefully, the girls will come out ready to play. It has the potential to be an excellent game!

Some coaches think volleyball players shouldn't play winter sports, And if they do, they will not play varsity volleyball, they'll sit on the bench. That's why next season, I will not support volleyball anymore, until that idiotic mentality changes. I heard that's why some Huron girls are now going to Edison, To have an opportunity to play winter sports. I do see an Edison bus in Huron everyday. What's even more surprising, There are parents going along with this, And not taking a stand against this crap.

And let's be honest since those players are not playing other sports shouldn't huron be better than they are at volleyball? Yes they are good and have had some runs at state but they are above average at best the last couple years so maybe they should realize their time is over with just playing volleyball

Be honest. how many girls at Edison that play basketball went to Huron? my answer is ONE did she play volleyball at Huron? NO Did she play volleyball at Edison? NO what grade is she in? 9th! You and I both know why she went there. it had nothing to do with how Huron basketball is going. did it? So why do you go on saying this non-sense? No truth to any of it. (an edison bus in huron everyday) this one should be a red flag to anyone reading your post that you're flat out just throwing Poop out there! Edison is not going to pay for a bus to come into Huron and pick up kids that transfer to edison. thats just flat out stupid! Oh by the way, since you only get updates from a couple of donut shop boys on your cell phone..several volleyball players are on the swim team. hope they don't have to sit next year..LOL

My niece at Perkins plays volleyball, and does not play basketball her reasons is she doesn't like basketball, she is one of Perkins best volleyball players in school history. People rag her all the time to play basketball. Why? Do you tell your kids they must do 3 sports? If the kid doesn't want to play a particular sport then they shouldn't.

THIS HOPEFULLY IS MY ONLY POST, AND THE ONLY REASON I AM DOING SO IS BECAUSE SOME OF YOU PEOPLE **** ME THE **** OFF ! MY DAUGHTER PLAYED 4 YEARS FOR DON WOOD AT HURON A COUPLE YEARS AGO, SHE PLAYED BASKETBALL FOR A 1 YEAR AND NEVER WENT BACK. GOING INTO HER JUNIOR YEAR SHE DECIDED SHE WANTED TO PLAY, SO SHE TRIED IT. MY DAUGHTER SAID DAD, THIS WAS THE DUMBEST THING I EVER DID! IT IS SO DYSFUNCTIONAL I CAN'T STAND IT. I TOLD HER YOU DECIDED TO DO IT, YOU WILL STICK TO IT. I WILL NOT LET YOU QUIT! NEEDLESS TO SAY SHE STUCK WITH IT, AND SHE IS USED TO BEING COACHED, AND THAT WAS NOT HAPPENING IN HURON BASKETBALL.
SO YOU IDIOTS MAKING YOUR REMARKS ARE FAR FROM BEING RIGHT. THEY DON'T GO OUT FOR BASKETBALL BECAUSE THE PROGRAM LACKS LEADERSHIP. I HEAR THE PERSON IN CHARGE NOW IS DOING BETTER, BUT ITS GOING TO TAKE ALONG TIME BEFORE ITS RIGHT.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VOLLEYBALL AT HURON AND GIRLS BASKETBALL ALL LIES INTO THE PROGRAMS OPERATION. VOLLEYBALL DEMANDS THAT YOU BE FUNDAMENTALLY STRONG AND DISCIPLINED. BASKETBALL YOU DON'T GET THAT.
BUT IN HER 6 YEARS OF HURON VOLLEYBALL NOT ONE COACH EVER QUESTIONED HER OR EVEN SUGGESTED THAT SHE NOT PLAY OTHER SPORTS. IT NEVER EXISTS.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME A PROUD TIGER PARENT OF AN ALUMNI

Apparently Huron basketball coaches don’t care since the assistant basketball coach has 600 pictures of a JO tournament on Facebook!
