There were many factors in the browns not getting the W yesterday. In my opinion taylors inaccuracy throwing the ball was key. Missed a lot of throws. Wet ball, bad conditions, ect. played into that. Bottom line is the steelers tried handing the browns a win but the browns were happy with “kissing there sister”. Sadly “kissing there sister” is a big accomplishment. Let’s hope they can figure out how to actually win a game! I give hue 1 or 2 more games and then he will be gone. Where’s the sister? Ending in a tie=kissing your sister=exactly what browns/steelers did = worst possible outcome no matter what team you root for

I hope Myles Garrett stood up like a man an apologized to the team. On a 3rd and 10 he roughed the passer to set up 1st & goal. Pitt got 7 instead of 3 because of that bonehead play. Then in overtime the Browns intercept a pass and return it nearly all the way and bonehead Garrett was there to make another bonehead play and blocks a player in the back as the runner is being tackled, absolutely pointless. So instead of a chip shot 30 yard FG to win it, the Browns instead have a 43 yarder in the slick grass. Kick is low because of the extra distance and blocked. Thanks Myles Garrett. That penalty flag is the difference between a tie a nd Browns win! I hear now the NFL says that should not have been a flag!

I'm happy with the tie potentially keeping the Steelers out of the playoffs.

Ditto. Even given the Browns lore, that was brutal.

But was it ‘lose to the Ravens on a blocked FG TD on Thursday Night Football’ brutal?

Vegas also realizes that the Browns only needed one thing to be 2-0-0 at this point. An average kicker.

Mainly a new coach and we will have one after this game. Seriously, cant’t they score a td after the defense gives em a 1st and goal? Mayfield has looked decent though.

Did we put a bandage on a gaping wound, putting Baker in??
No one can argue with the optimism and uplift in emotional feeling that occurred when he got in.

Said he has to watch the film before making a decision on the starting qb. Such a buffoon. Browns covered if you’re a point spread better, I’m a money line guy personally

I would hope that Tyrod acknowledges the difference in team performance once Baker entered the game. It was stark. That should make Hue's decision even easier. Teams will be prepping for Baker now. It will be interesting to see counter adjustments by Haley.

You read WAY too much into my post. It is a FACT that all that was missing to win ONLY the first 2 games was an average kicker. Now that Mayfield is playing let's hope a kicker isn't needed as often. ALSO you read too much into the importance of Hue Jackson these days. You do realize that during a game he's mostly just a cheerleader and decides when to punt or kick a field goal and whether or not to go for it on 4th and 1, that's it. It was decided long before the NFL draft this season that Hue would no longer call offensive plays. Experienced and highly thought of O and D coordinators have been hired and are making ALL the calls on both sides of the ball.

It will be interesting to see counter adjustments by Haley. It DOES NOT matter what Tyrod acknowledges. He is but one of the pawns on the football chess board, that only moves when the person in charge wants to use a piece. Unlike you and me, Tyrod is a PRO. He will do what he is told to do by those in charge. If he doesn't like it, he will be put on the trash heap of out of work QB's with Kaepernick. The same plays were called when Tyrod and Baker were on the field. The only adjustments that can be made by D-coordinators now is to tell his DBs to grab and hold the Browns WRs all the more. Baker threads the needle when DBs are in their hip pocket.

^^ I was all in on Mayfield but was really disappointed with the Ward pick at #4. I thought he was too small to be a shut down corner.I stand corrected. He looks great so far.

Something that us Browns fans have not had a whole lot of over the years,,a QB with accuracy and quick decision making ability. One thing that Troy Aikman said that was interesting to me was that as an OC you wait all game sometime to get a certain coverage in a situation to call a certain play---when the specific situation happens--- your QB has to execute and make the proper call and throw. i feel like Baker has that "it" factor to make a defense pay when the situation presents itself.

At the 2 of the 3 most important positions in the NFL. In the previous draft they got the other position. Next draft they need to load up on O-linemen
