I am sick of hearing these former NOL schools (mainly Willard and Norwalk, but not limited to those schools) b i t c h about their coaches and players. We never dealt with this sort of complaining until you dumpster divers arrived in the SBC. Every time I log in, I see you guys complaining about your coach, or the JV coach, or the relationship between the 8th graders. You guys have to be the biggest group of weirdos I have ever come across. Sit your dumpy bum bum e s in the stands and watch the game. Then come on here and tell us how you feel. You guys act like your team is the Cleveland Browns and the coach really has so much to do with the product you see on the court. 9/10 its the players. If the players want to win, and they have talent, they will win! If they have talent, and don't want to win, they will still win more than they lose. If they don't have talent, and want to win, they will lose more than they win. High school sports, especially basketball, is all about the talent on the floor. I don't think we have any Bob Knight's or Steve Kerr's coaching in the area. And frankly, if the coach shouldn't be responsible for getting the most out of the players, that is the players job. You have 12 players on a varsity team, if they can't rally together and play for each other, than that is the problem right there. The best teams you will see come out of this area all had two things in common, #1 TALENT, you cannot win without good basketball players, or at least good athletes. #2 TEAM CHEMISTRY. And a sense of brotherhood. Caring for one another. It has a whole hell of a lot less to do with the coach. I think a lot of you dump bags are fathers of players who are not as good as you think they are.
But what do I know. I am simply a teenage drug bag. But I do know good basketball. And I also know a perverted father of a high-school athlete when I see you post. All this complaining about coaches like your son is in the NBA makes me want to log off of the forum forever.

Bobby James also not good to kids. He does not treat them right and should be fired.

Dump, I think most of the ones on here that I see that do any complaining about the coaches I think do not have any kids in school anymore. I for one do not have any in school. The oldest graduated from St. Paul awhile back and the youngest from Norwalk. And I also believe that I have seen in the forum here and on the old site that there were some here complaining about coaches from the SBC before the NOL joined. And yes Dump there were some complaining from HURON about your coaches. Dump stay cool, SPRING is not long in coming.

Interesting, "soft" is how dump describes this year's Huron team.
These are dump's encouraging words from 2 posts about his beloved Tigers.
Incredibly disappointing Other than Hurst and Wenner, they looked scared with the ball in their hands The least aggressive, most timid team I can remember They rarely get any easy layups Bobby can't do anything with a group like this None of Hurst's teammates came to play These guys just don't want to win They lack tourghness

Willard- First of all, b l o w me. all of those comments had to do with the product of basketball being played ON THE FLOOR. I have never come on here and said a bad thing about Bobby James. Bobby is a great man, a fine coach, and cares first and foremost about the kids. If you see someone complaining about Bobby they are more than likely not from Huron. You dump bags constantly complain about your respective coaches and your sons' playing time, and the state of the 8th grade team. I will ONLY complain about how the Tigers perform on the court, which I believe is perfectly fine.

Dump, stay cool don't go flying off the handle because of what someone said on here. Some people like to get your goat and some are just giving you their opinion on a subject or two. Sometimes you bring all this upon yourself. If you only learn to back-off on what some people say and don't insult them all the time. There is a old saying that you attracted more people with sugar than salt. Remember I said that Coach James is a great coach and he will get Huron on the right track. Stay cool dump just stay cool. ok I meant to say fly's and not people. Soory about that.

Death- you have turned from an arch nemesis of mine in to some sort of grandfather figure, and I am not sure how to feel about it. I appreciate your kindness. You seem like a good man, if you ever want to get together at the Donut Shop I would be honored to talk about some small town gossip over some donuts and coffee.

Now that you mentioned it are there any good coaches in the area? Balogh and Vermilion coach stand out. Irish seems to have turned around Sandusky. They've always had some talent just no discipline. Any up and comers? I agree that you've got to have some talent on the floor as well as teamwork and positive attitudes. I think the poor coaches are the ones who don't actually coach the kids on the floor. Pull a kid when he's not boxing out, etc. and coach him (or her). Some coaches have loaded teams and still don't get far in the tourney with them.

You weren't describing "soft"?? All I did was REpost the EXACT words YOU have used to desribe the Huron basketball team this year. I don't even know the name of the Huron coach. YOU just NOW broached the subject of "coach". As they say in a court room, you opened the door. What does a coach do? You would be "soft" if you can't take constructive criticism. Like you were giving out.

Go Tigers Dump, I have always like to help out any and all young men in advise of what to do in this insane world of ours. My Grandfathers and my father have always given me advice when they where alive. Sometimes I listen to them and sometimes I didn't, we were all young at once. I would like to get together with you and talk about each others towns and joke about it. These next 2 weeks I am busy but let's always keep in touch and let's get a date set for that coffee. I hope the coffee shop makes their coffee strong the way I like it. My wife said she has never seen anybody like it as strong as I do. I like it where you need a jackhammer just to get a spoon it.
