Ont-70 CF-60 Final (I need to check my source. Ontario would of had to outscore them 23-7 in the 4th) You're welcome Pleasant. You can cut down the nets again In the first quarter everything CF was chucking up went in. Very few of Ontario shots were falling. Resulting in a 15 point lead for CF. In the 2nd quarter 6-7 Logon Jones started to make his shots around the basket and stepped out for a couple of 3-pointers. Opening up driving lanes for their Freshman and two 6-4 Soph guards. Cutting the 15 point lead to 5. When Jones is motivated and scores over 15, they're a different team, he had 19 tonight. The 3rd quarter was back and fourth with Clear Fork leading by 4 or 6. Once Ontario took the lead with around 2:30 to go in the 4th it was over. Balogh makes you foul his Freshman and Sophs and of late they've been making around 80% of their free throws at crunch time, finishing games. Also in the 4th quarter Ontario was rebounding and out letting the ball for fast break baskets, a veteran Ontario practice. Clear Fork wins JV game 56-52. I've never seen a game where both coaches were as irate with the officiating as that game. At least you knew it was being fairly officiated.

Willard, it was good seeing you sitting mid-court in the front row last night. Ontario won the coaching battle last night. They made adjustments that wore the Colts down. The underclassmen for both schools are impressive. JV game= officiating disaster!
Ontario vs Clyde will be interesting. Clear Fork vs Senior will be very interesting!

The KMAC didn't want them. They were too far away. You have to be invited to join a conference. The KMAC wanted Danville instead so that's who they invited.

^^^ The league they joined has a number of hour* one way trips. Elgin was a bit like Harding used to be. Wrong size school for area leagues.

Couldn't call it the Knox Morrow Athletic Conference if schools from Marion County were in it.

I know no one will believe me, but I was much higher up than the first row. I dislike sitting down low. I've tried it, but seems as though an official's rear end is always in your sight line.

Madison-64 Ont-56 F Kyle Jackson with another big nite 27 pts. Also 12 rebounds and 5 blocks and he never came off the floor. Rams can't afford that. He was held to 5 in the first half trying to go against Jones in the low post, who's a couple inches taller, to get him in foul trouble. In the second half he roamed around the the 3-point line and got on a real roll making mid-range jumpers. I think 6 or 7 in a row, the difference in the game. Ontario got down by 14, but cut the lead to 4. With around a minute to play Jones made a short jumper at the rim being bumped by a couple of defenders to cut the lead to 2, but the basket was waved off, for traveling. A second difference in the game. Another difference was Ontario leading scorer Freshman Griffin Shaver getting cut on the face when fouled driving to the basket early in the game. He missed the first quarter in the locker room getting patched up. He still managed double figures again with 12. Soph Chance Mott led Ontario with 15. According to Joe, too much one on one play by several of his players instead of running the offense getting shots by players where they should. Ontario wins JV game 72-65, Freshman Colton Kurtz had 28
