Sportsvideo, I was wondering how did the Ashland Women's basketball team do. I haven't heard anything on them if they won the National Championship again this year or not. I hope they did.

I'm not sure who won the D-II National Championship this year and researched it and still couldn't find any results. (waiting on sportsvideo to fill us in) Ashland has become the UConn of DII basketball, with a record string of wins. BGSU is benefitting from their success, acquiring the great Ashland coach as the new coach of the Falcons. (below)
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Bowling Green has named former Ashland coach Robyn Fralick as its new women's basketball coach and Ashland has selected assistant Kari Pickens as its new coach. Both announcements were made Tuesday afternoon.
Fralick has led Ashland to two consecutive NCAA Division II championship games, winning in 2017. In three seasons as head coach, Fralick led the Eagles to a record of 104-3, including a 73-game winning streak -- fifth longest in NCAA history -- that was snapped in last month's championship game.
Fralick was an assistant at Ashland for seven years. She replaces Jennifer Roos at Bowling Green and will be introduced at a news conference on Wednesday.
"I am very thankful for the opportunity to be the Head Coach at Bowling Green State University," Fralick said on the school website. "I am keenly aware of the rich tradition of the women's basketball program and am honored to be leading this team. Bowling Green State University is a great mix of both academic and athletic excellence, and I am eager for my family to become a part of the community and to get started."
"I want to wish Robyn the best as she embarks on the next chapter in her career," Ashland director of athletics Al King said in a school release. "She's enjoyed a historic run here and what she's accomplished is mind boggling. She's directed a class program from top to bottom. Robyn has attracted the attention of coaches and administrators from every level of the college game and from every corner of the country. She's an elite coach."

Ashland lost the title game. And also lost their coach to Bowling Green.

Just now I googled "ncaa division ii women's basketball", then clicked on the first result which was from the NCAA's official website, and saw a front page headline stating "Central Missouri end's Ashland's historic streak, wins DII title" ...and there was also score graphic above it showing that 6 seed Central Missouri defeated 1 seed Ashland 66-52 in the title game

Gentleman, I would like to Thank You All for helping me find out if Ashland U. women team won or not. Being a BG grad. I sure am glad to hear the Robyn Fralick is going to be our new coach. It's been along time since Women's and Basketball were together again. I was wondering if anybody knows if Robyn and her replacement Kari Pickens are from Western Reserve High. They sound familiar to me from there. Again thanks guys.

nah,Berlin Center or maybe even Western Reserve Academy nah, Collins Western Reserve. I knew some of the Pickens that was a few years behind me and I thought they had a child named Kari. I guess I'm gonna have to stop by their place and asked them that. I might be wrong on this one, I know there's always a first time for something, and it might happen again one of these years. . I did checked out Robyn last name and the ones that I knew spelled their last name different. OK guys let's start on the laughing and other stuff since I made a mistake. I can take it as long as my syco doc can still see me.

Did you do any of St. Paul's meets between 2004-2010. My oldest was on the track team and we might have meant each other without knowing that one day we be pulling each others leg. I still have to talk with my friends to see if that is their daughter or not.

Thanks Video, I been away this weekend up in Michigan visiting some friends. It was nice being in friendly territory and not hear a strange word all day (like OH and stuff like that) but hear M go Blue and the Victors. I wasn't the enemy there but my friends that came with me sure was. The only sad part was on the way home as no sooner we cross back into Ohio did my friends get on my case then. With friends like them and you guys, who needs enemies. Anyway thanks for giving me the information on the coaches Video.

I have done a few St. Paul meets. Kids competing in T&F are the greatest. Now I know then we meet each other at some of those meets. Sorry I didn't get back sooner to you but I was up in the great state of Michigan for the weekend visiting some friends with some friends from here. It was nice to be in friendly territory and not hear a nasty word like, OH-IO, and stuff like that. The beauty of that trip was my friends from here got the same treatment they give me down here but up there. Oh revenge, what a great word it is to give it to my wife and friends. The only problem about this last weekend is no sooner we crossed the state line my friends and family gave it right back to me, again. Talk to you later.
