That was supposed to be a question. Oh, sorry. I didn't hear anything until you posted that then I did the search and found that article. It says that the AD's recommendation is to not renew his contract so it's up to the board to accept or decline the recommendation. The job is not posted so they must not have had the board meeting yet. After last season the board voted 3-1 to have him return. I just assumed he was going to return after the success they had this past season. Seems strange to get rid of him, I wonder if something happened. 15/16 - 1-22
16/17 - 5-18
17/18 - 11-12 (Tied for most wins for Crestline since 96/97 season, Lisle's senior season) |

Well Lisle says in the article that 2 people with some power have personal vendettas against him. I don't know who he is talking about but Almanson (BOE) voted to not renew his contract last year. There's also 2 new board members Sipes and Anatra, and Lisle has coached players with the same last names. Not sure what the relationships are between the players and the board members. I don't know why they wouldn't hire him back. They've shown a lot of progress and the players like him. Maybe Lisle is right, just people with power that have vendettas. |

You are correct but I was not sure how far to extend that Mansfield area. Dude, I figured on if you get the Mansfield TV station you are in the Mansfield area. They do report on the teams up here and give the scores so I guess we are in the area.  |

I get the Chicago station. I get a Cincinnati station, I wish I could get a Detroit station so I could watch my Tigers play but at least I could watch the Reds instead of that other team in our state. But I see what you are saying but Mansfield is local and I can't get the Sandusky station, no cable just dish. Anyway I just heard that Monroeville just hired a new basketball coach today or maybe it was yesterday. His name, I think, is Paul Roeder and he was the Asst. Varsity coach last year. I get the Chicago station. Before the days of cable I had a 75' tower and THE best antenna money could buy. On a good day, or when there was or was not a large solar flare. I could get a Windsor Canada station.  |

I could get a Windsor Canada station. Willard, I remember those days here in Norwalk. On a very good day we picked up not only the 3 Cleveland stations and the 3 Toledo stations but we could pick up a few Detroit stations and a Windsor, Canada station and an Akron station. Now sometimes I wished we still had those towers, since I have dish I can not get the Toledo stations since I live east of the divide line of Huron and Sandusky county line. Damn rules. |
