Enforcement became very lax under eight years of Obama and criminal activity by unethical employers and those who willingly aided and abetted illegal aliens in documentation fraud. Below is a brief description of what is transpiring in the northern Ohio investigation:
* Update from June 7, 2018 ** According to a story on Cleveland-based WKYC.com, the raid this week on Corso’s began further south in Marion, OH, where 44-year-old Martha Buendia Chavarria operated a document mill.
By stealing identities of those in Puerto Rico or using the information of the recently deceased she produced Social Security cards and birth certificates for people looking to work at Corso’s Flower & Garden Center.
“She would help somebody that was looking for some fraudulent documents to turn into an employer,” says Immigrations & Customs Enforcement spokesman Khaalid Walls.
“Today’s effort was essentially the opening salvo of the investigation,” Walls said. “There’s a considerable amount of investigation that has to follow this.”

I had a great conversation with a gentleman about this the other day. He and I both agreed that it's the right thing to do, but what's causing everyone to be "upset" over the entire incident, is nothing more than human emotion.
You can't scroll down your facebook feed without seeing something about the displaced families and how could the government do that to them. You will hear people say "they were just trying to work and raise their families," "they weren't hurting anyone because no one else wants the job."
I understand families are displaced and that by no means is a good thing or what I want to see, but the risk was always there. The thought that "I can and will go the rest of my life without getting caught is something they never thought." They knew there was always a chance and that chance happened.
I too like you Sportsjock, believe rules and regulations, got lax and soft. We played too much of are existence on the result of how our human emotion affected law and order. I am not sure why we make exceptions based on are emotions, and then pass it off as the "right thing to do."
Some say this is just a drop in a 5 gallon bucket, but its a start.
One thing i didn't think about until it was brought to my attention was the income they make and where they spend it. While they do need food, clothing, gas, and other expenditures, I also know a lot of money they did make was sent back to relatives south of the border. Now looking at it for face value you might think whats it matter, but when you add up all 114, the number grows quite considerably.
I am 30 so I by default am apart of a generation where we ask "why" first then do it. I just don't understand where the principles right and wrong and why its right and wrong got lost.
