I think he stays. I know he likes Collin Sexton because Collin bring the juice as a PG who can make plays on both ends. We had a decent playing point guard and we would give GS more of a battle than we did. As it was,,if we win game 1--that whole series changes dramatically. I almost think we were so Psyched out by the loss, it crushed our spirit. Never the less I'm in the same camp I was when he came back--LBJ is an Ohio guy. Loves OSU and to a point beating GS in Cavs uniform is something he really really wants to do. I could be totally wrong too.

What is the time frame for free agency to conclude? Really isn’t one. Remember how late TT signed his contract? I think it’s between staying or the Lakers. If they can get Robin to his Batman here he stays if not he heads to the Lakers with George. If George resigns with OKC I think that he may just opt in to his final year and stay

Even if he stays he wont opt in.

Just looking a the free agent list- if we can get any of the Nuggets 2 guards (Gary Harris or Will Barton) or Wayne Ellington of Miami, I would then dump JR Smith and maybe Jordan Clarkson. Then if we could get Thaddeus Young, that might be enough to keep LeBron. If we get Paul George it's a done deal.

The value of LeBron winning a title in LAL is meager at best.
Whatever he does i don't think that is a priority. The 1 title he won in CLE is worth more 10 titles anywhere else. And it ages better and better the more GS wins.

With the talk about KD joining an already made championship team, imagine the talk if Lebron went to L.A. with a couple All-Stars. Even if they could beat the Warriors and Houston to make the finals, his help would always be mentioned. With him having 3 titles already and playing each year in the finals with a D-league team roster his image is growing daily to just how special he is.

No matter where he goes, watching him is watching sports history in the making.

I just don't see the Lakers as a destination franchise. LeBron is going to go play for Luke Walton? This is not the 80s and Jeannie Buss is not her dad.
I don't see anything to be gained, from a title perspective, by moving to the Western Conference. Aside from dodging Boston.

No matter where he goes, watching him is watching sports history in the making. The difference in that special group you mentioned is that all 4 are associated and remembered for being with ONE team. even though Kareem moved and Jordan tried to play with the team he was running. All four of them are remembered with a single team. LBJ will never live down being a hometown kid who left town to win a title. Right now he is being seen as the one who brought a title to Cleveland. If he leaves, regardless of how many he wins, he will be the guy that left to every NBA fan.

I'm sorry but Paul George by himself is not getting LeBron to LA. George is not the second best player on a championship team. He's not even an all star in the west.

I’m going to say he signs a 1 plus 1 with the Cavs and will be in LA in 2019 with Kawhi, George and Paul

Plus with CP3 also in his mid 30s, I do not see them running over the younger Warriors or any other younger team for that matter. IMO

George should come to Cleveland I would love to see them offload Clarkson, Smith and Thompson from last years roster. Get Hood and Green under contract and then work on a solid <30 veteran who can score and defend. Hill Sexton Calderon Korver Hood James Green Osman Love Nance White Zizic

Any contract can be dealt with if you want it gone bad enough. The NBA has proven this.

Since you can do that just tell us where he is going and end the conversation.

Nice try but we all know 2 years in pro sports can be forever, and at age 33 playing 40 minutes a night in 82 games. Just ask MJ and Kobe.

Read that the Lakers have thrown a lot of their good young players at the Spurs for Kawhi. If he ends up in LA that paths the way for LeBron’s exit
