He's a legend in his own mind. Wouldn’t we all be in his shoes. If I were him I’d be getting speculation from athletic directors, head coaches, conference officials, university presidents and NCAA officials rather than message boards and bunch of experts at the local bakery. I imagine with his connections I would be a legend.

Football, college and pro, cannot happen over night. There is a reason they train and practice for 4-5 months before their first game.

There is not gonna be high school football this year!It is what it is.z.High school football takes months in a offseasons of lifting running , constantly working out , constantly but YOUR doing this as a team .In febuary ,march,april,may,june,july..Critical critical months you need to successfully nowadays to field a team prior to two days. Both my boys played at ross under kidwell and yeast and spring is huge.I used to take our oldest to lifting in spring ,conditioning..IF ross does not play Sandusky this year it would be first time since 1943 and in 1921 when ross played 4 games in 1921 due to a outbreak.Nearly 100 years ago.

Incorrect. Ross and Sandusky did not play in 1987 and 1988 after the breakup of the Buckeye Conference.

But if no one is training during this time then wouldn't it be an even playing field?

It does take months under normal circumstances to prepare for a successful season. We are not under normal circumstances and all teams will or should be in the same boat. I suspect the season could begin with three weeks of practice and one scrimmage and perhaps without the scrimmage.

Yep, everyone will be in the same boat. Also the same boat as far as injuries. Especially the kids that didn't work hard on conditioning leading up to the 3 weeks of practice and one scrimmage. I can also see 3 games being eliminated, as most leagues have 8 teams, resulting in 3 non-league games. If that happens, it will hinder the Harbin System coming up with the best teams for the playoffs.

I'm also guessing there will be no football this season. If they do play I would say it would be huge advantage for Willard. You see they don't lift weights and have off season things so they should have a leg up on those that weren't able to prepare.

Calvert/Troy Christian now showing cancelled? If so, leaves week 7 and 8 open for Calvert. That's not good

Assuming there will be Football this year, it seems Norwalk will go through a significant haul entertaining 2021. Mansfield Senior looks to be only constant. The other schools Truckers are entertaining have solid resumes.

Yes, Bishop Hartley is to replace Ontario.
Another one that's a solid possibility, and not a real surprise considering we've scrimmaged them past few years and they're led by Norwalk alum Tom Deluca, is Olmsted Falls.

That's a hell of an upgrade😲 Some of other schools being considered are impressive as well. But, I'll keep that hush hush for time being.

With going to 12 teams int he playoffs teams can "risk" moving up to play a division bigger (or smaller vs a Parochial team).

Fliers may only go 6-4 this season😋 like you, I'm not fully confident 6-4 will get them anywhere whether kids are transferring or unfortunately injured. In all seriousness, full recovery to this young man.
