Picked up a ticket for the San Diego game for $6 on Stubhub today. Will be the first time I've been up there since they renovated the stadium.
With week 17 being at Pittsburgh, this game is pretty much the Browns last shot at avoiding 0-16.....and since they're playing a 5-9 west coast team that's playing a 1pm EST road game on a short week and also dealing with the distraction that their franchise will most likely be moving next year, perhaps there's somewhat of a chance a win could actually happen.

It's a Christmas Miracle!
Well, I picked the right game to go to this year. So glad that we're avoiding 0-16.
Oh, and The 49ers won too, so this win didn't even mess up our draft order.

We watched from home . . . hubby could hardly stand it. He was so ready for the second half melt-down and was pleased that they pulled it out. That blocked field goal . . . seems to have happened a lot this year for different teams to alter endings.
He got his Christmas present from the Browns a day early, and then I got mine from the Steelers last night. Both games hard to watch at times. So frustrating.

Jackson's play calling in OT today made it look like he was very much interested in securing the #1 overall pick

Just a typical Browns' day: Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!! Snatched Myles Garrett is what they did

Myles Garrett will be a bust if taken #1 overall, he will play like a 2nd or 3rd rounder, not a #1 overall. I'm in the Jonathan Allen boat. Myles Garrett is the defensive version of Brady Quinn. The dude performs big vs crappy teams, not many crappy teams to pad stats with in the NFL.
Garrett had 8.5 sacks this year. 4.5 of those were vs UT San Antonio. He had 1 tackle vs Ole Miss and K-State. You have to have a motor every game in the NFL, not some of the games.
Jonathan Allen leads his team every game and his team wins. Garrett leads his team to losses.

I love how Allen came back to Bama with the dedication to prove the critics wrong about his ability to defend against the run. He's a worker and that's what we want to draft.
A couple weeks ago I heard Ray Lewis (if you don't know he was a Miami Hurricane) talking about when he joined the Ravens. He said when he first joined the Ravens they had a loser mentality from their days as the Browns. He said he had to become the leader and teach those guys to play every down in a game like it mattered. He said he didn't care if they were down 20 points with 2 minutes left in a game, he wanted them all to play with high intensity. To me that's Jonathan Allen and that's the type of player the Browns need. I like how the Browns played hard in all 16 games, this team has a few players to build around now we need the more talented players with that same work ethic.

The Browns are sticking with the 3-4 which tells me that they will be picking Garett if they keep the number 1 pick

I thought Williams was a 4-3 guy ?.....which would be good with both Nassib and Ogbah and might lock Garrett into the #1 pick as I think he was in a 4-3 in college.

Curtis Samuel with the 33rd pick anyone? I think that's the spot they take a qb I'm not sure where Samuel fits in the NFL. Not a good route runner for a slot receiver and not big enough to be a every down back. I guess that leaves him as a situational player and that doesn't equal 33 pick

I also thought they were going to a 4-3 now? Hmm.

Let me get this straight, the Browns poached the dc from the 3rd worst team in the league to improve the worst defense in the league. Gotta love it.

But was a top 10 defense there, and has been most of his seasons wherever he's been. Offense problem with rams.

The Browns GM should get an account for this board and do the opposite of these so called internet experts on here say. The reality is, the Browns are screwed for a long time to come. There is no magic pill for this draft. Yes, lets keep drafting D players and just let this anemic offense go. I mean Ds win championships.
