What if undisciplined play has occurred in practice? How do you know "lesson learned"? How many second chances have already been given? As.head coach how much can you let slide without it affecting your TEAM? Not my high horse. As I said, urban has encouraged transfers before “WHAT IF” We could play that game all nite. Head coaches don't play games

EXACTLY! There is even language in Urban's contract about what kind of players he can not recruit. He will be under a high resolution microscope, all players better be on their best behavior.

Another asinine comment...encouraged to transfer...what a joke. You would be the asinine one. There have been more than one 4 and 5 Stars that didn't conform that were encouraged. You are still just salty from me burning your *** off the baseball board due to your moronic cold takes. You're almost as bad a skip bayless. Put the bottle down and find a program in your area. There isn't a soul on this board that puts any weight to your posts.

I'll consider anyone on the roster. That's what good coaches do. The best player earns the spot. I don't give a shat about high school stats. As far as the WV kid goes he should get the same opportunity as the rest of them. The best player always starts?? What if the "best player" physically has issues? What if his issues do not change? Does that mean the best player physically at every position automatically starts regardless? That's a formula for a mutiny. A desperation graduate transfer on campus less than a month should get the same chance as Martell and other scholarship players and walkons?? You're suggesting a 7 player compition at QB?? He's on the team. He's clearly third on the depth chart at the moment. Why shouldn't he get the same consideration?

2 unsportsmanlike penalties in a. Blowout against Ritgers?? Young needs to grow up or he will be encouraged to transfer. Chase Young is our next All-American DE. Encouraged to leave, I think not.

It's not like those were late hits or cheap shots. He didn't take a swing at anybody. Those were ticky tack calls that would not have been made by a competent crew in a big game situation.

The second unsportsmanlike penalty on Young was for coming on the field to celebrate, and you want to tell him to grow up and possibly transfer if he keeps that up? Huh? That shows me that he’s happy for his teammates and cares about winning and the team.

That shows me that he’s happy for his teammates and cares about winning and the team. Very few coaches would think it would be productive to beat down and quell raw and sincere emotion, expressed in the joy of the moment. That's where I have a strong dislike for the NCAA rule that has officials dispensing their flag for a team celebrating after scoring a touchdown. The elation of making a great play, the team sharing in the excitement of the moment is what college football is all about. Despite the fact, the celebration is not directed at an opposing player or the opposing team, no taunting going on, the flag comes out. This is so wrong and the rule should be modified or eliminated altogether.

Anyone know if Shaun Wade was playing CB or S when he made his int.? It appears he is a corner in the video. I know he played a lot of safety 2nd half. So good to see Jordan Fuller back at full speed. Will be interesting to see how the safety depth chart pans out this week.

This is so wrong and the rule should be modified or eliminated altogether. Greg Schiano says, "Ohio State football players are expected to play with emotion, but not let their emotions control what they do on the field." If you don't like rules lobby the NCAA for changes. Until then players must know the rules and act accordingly. Against TCU, Ohio State can't afford multiple 15 yard celebration penalties.

Schiano does want him to grow up, not let his emotions control him and never get another celebration penalty.

I would wager anything, we see no repeat penalties of this nature. It's not like he ran to the far side of the field to celebrate with team mates, the whole episode took place virtually in front of the Ohio State bench. Haven't heard any comments on on Brandon Bowen's prognosis since he had the surgical procedure on his leg. Medical redshirt is most likely, but perhaps there's a possibility a late season return, to bolster the OL. Anyone heard or read anything?
