Combined 8-0 ?, Currently, J.T. Barrett iv, The greatest QB of all time at Ohio State to some (not me), Was cut and released by the Indiana Colts, And the New Orleans Saints. Then re signed to the Saints practice squad, But his passing accuracy is in question, according to the report.

The Barrett bashing is so old, so lame.

JT was average. The only reason he held records is because he was at OSU for 50 years. Haskins is so much of a better qb and that is easy to see from an old man like myself.

I'm as thrilled with Haskins as anyone and expect big things for the Buckeyes with his presence behind center. Nobody is arguing the fact he is a prolific passer. Your attacks on Barrett however, is both unfair and unwarranted. Your hatred is well documented.

JT Barrett is the David Lighty of OSU football.
I can't remember who posted the history of OSU hoops pics and David Lighty was photo-shopped into everyone, but that was one of the most priceless sights to ever grace the now defunct NOSF.
Right up there with the Joe Bauserman passing chart and the Nick Dials Mount Rushmore.

For the haters. For those that wallow in the past instead of looking to the future. For those that root against Ohio State players instead of rooting for Ohio State players. ONE QB has FIVE TIMES as many wins as the other 3 QBs COMBINED.

Regular season winning % by OSU QB's in the Urban Meyer era 100% (22-0) - Braxton Miller 100% (2-0) - Kenny Guiton 100% (7-0) - Cardale Jones - a perfect 10-0 with a NC if you count postseason games 100% (3-0) - Dwayne Haskins 88% (36-5)- JT Barrett IV - 5th place, aka last place - only starting QB in Urban era to lose a regular season game and he lost a whopping 5.
In other words 34-0 any QB not named JT Barrett IV 36-5 JT Barrett IV
so if OSU goes 2-5 in their next 7 games then JT will look okay
Welp, back to winning all the regular season games now that JT Barrett IV isn't around to ball hog it anymore.

JT did accomplish some great career statistics, but I am glad TOSU has a QB at QB once again instead of a RB.

JT did accomplish some great career statistics, but I am glad TOSU has a QB at QB once again instead of a RB. JT was a team leader and an outstanding QB. We should always recognize the fact that football is a game of many complexities, a wide gamut of philosophies, strategies and styles. College football has seen so many different eras come and go, with swings in offensive approaches to the game. JT had outstanding passing stats, as well as outstanding rushing stats over his career at Ohio State. One can't discount the Buckeyes successes with JT at the helm. Dwayne Haskins presents an entirely different approach to our offensive attack and all of it is good. If he stays healthy and the receivers continue to develop, this team has few limits to what they can accomplish.

Mine is that JT was a RB that played QB(today they can be called duel threat QBs). He over time accumulated record stats similar to the kid who played in Florida for the same coach. Hats off to him for all he has done but I myself like a QB who CAN run, not a RB who CAN throw.

J.T. was never a running back. His career passing percentage, yardage, and interception ratio was excellent. Nothing can be gained by ripping on former players. Haters are going to keep on hating and supporters will appreciate his accomplishments and move on.
Would Haskins be more of a threat if he had wheels? Perhaps, but I like him just the way he is, as you suggested, leave the totin' to our two great runningbacks. It's great having a QB who can stretch the field vertically and do it with accuracy.

No rips and no hate, just opinions and I greatly appreciate everything our Buckeyes accomplish. BUT, I like seeing a QB who looks to throw the ball down field. IN the first 3 games as a starter I have been very impressed. Just as I was in 2014, but the 2018 numbers are better. Haskins does not need wheels when he had Weber, Dobbins, Teague, Snead, Campbell, Hill and Dixon.

Correct. He was more of a fullback.

Tyrod Taylor with the official win last night since he was the starter. That game reminded me of when Dwayne "Big Game" Haskins came in vs Michigan last year and saved the Buckeyes from defeat. Dwayne officially didn't get credit for the win just like Baker didn't get credit for the win last night. Baker Mayfield is still 0-0 as a starting QB in the NFL while Tyrod Taylor improved to 1-1-1 as the Browns starting QB.
JT Barrett should send Dwayne "Big Game" Haskins a thank you letter for that win vs Michigan.

Saw no whining about wins Cardale was credited with when he was the starter and another QB "won" the game in relief. NOR Braxton wins when another QB "won" the game in relief.
Hater FAKE STATS.

Some times a passing plan is needed to win a big game. We haven’t always had that in recent years.

Enjoy this years team and quit bitching and moaning how you know so much more than our coaching staff. With all that superior knowledge and insight, put your application in. Personnel office is down the hall, second door on the left.

Didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out JT Barrett IV was the 4th best QB on the team last year. Stanley Jackson former OSU QB told us before the start of the 2017 season that Dwayne Haskins was the best QB on the team. Go look back at the talk from the 2017 spring game. Much talk about how Burrow and Haskins were so much better than "Noodle Arm" Barrett. 95% of OSU fans saw it. Urban Meyer pulled a Hue Jackson and stuck with the veteran.
Baker Mayfield is to Tyrod Taylor what Dwayne Haskins is to JT Barrett IV. Everyone saw it, except for the coach and the coach butt kissers.

Foolish of you to quote Stanley Jackson's expertise on QB's. Seeing that he STILL thinks he's a better QB than Joe Germaine. The Ohio State QB who holds the record for most passing yardage in a season. If you were well read you would know why, not only Urban, but Wilson, Day and Coach Mick didn't think Haskins was ready. To get over the past you first have to accept that the past is over. No matter how many times you revisit it, it's over. It can hurt you no more.
