Mapleton over SC, I hope the Trojans find a way to win.
Western over Plymouth, WR improving weekly. I personally can’t stomach watching Plymouth’s offense. I didn’t notice a lot of athletes with speed on the Plymouth team.
Monroeville over New London
St Paul over Crestview, could be a game if SP didn’t learn/improve from the mistakes made in the Calvert game. First real test since they lost in week 3.

The Mounties' QB and skill guys will get them past the Trojans. Now that the Trojans are in the heart of their schedule, I look for them to lose 3 out of their last 5. Maybe 4 as the Roughriders are improving. SP will win in a competitive, yet shut out game. Kind of the way they beat Plymouth. Western over Plymouth in a very close game. I doubt New London will win a game. Monroeville by alot.

Why do people think WR is improving? Because they beat one of the worse teams in the state? Just curious

I think they are improving for this reason. It is week six in a first year system. By this time, the kids are understanding the new offense/defense and playing more comfortably. That in itself allows them to play faster and smarter....which means improving, which means possibly winning.

I have seen them twice this year and they might not have the wins to show it but they are a much more improved team than last year. They play with a energy that they haven’t had there in a few years. New offense is coming around and the players are improving.

Here is how I view the league
St. Paul Everyone Else (any of these teams could beat each other on a given night) New London
SC being 5-0 is great for Coach Fick and the community, very cool to see! They are in a very tough region, I'd say they have to be 8-2 to get in the playoffs
St. Paul is St. Paul in the FC until someone beats them
WR non conf schedule was extremely tough, I'd argue that most teams in the FC would have been 0-3 with the same schedule. Played well against crestview, I was at this game (should have won, two overthrows to wide open receivers and a mis kicked onside kick that was recovered by WR with 6mins to go that was overturned) and handled NL
Mapleton will host a playoff game
Monroeville down year

Very good synopsis. Disagree with most teams going 0-3 against WR non-conference schedule though. Margaretta lost handily to a below average Monroeville team.

And you know what else? ....I really don't care for Saint Paul's new uniforms.

well if south central plays well they might sneak in because there are 4 blanchard valley teams in there, arlington, mccomb, leipsic and pandora gilboa and mccomb beat arlington last week other than that game, all 4 bvc teams have to play and beat each other up and there could be a spoiler for these teams liberty benton.and if south central beats mapleton, western reserve then play st.paul at home and beat them well south central coild sneak in.

With some of the teams in d7 getting into the playoffs with records of 4-6 & 5-5, it would be an injustice if SC didn't make it at say...7-3. But, I see them finishing at 6-4 anyway.

well 1 belowthepressbox, i do believe south central will defeat mapleton at home because they run the ball better they stop the run better than mapleton, true mapleton has a veteran qb and skilled receivers,if south central opens up a lead, mapleton will be in trouble especially if they throw interceptions, they will lose,sc wins at western reserve,i hope they will beat st.paul at home, win at crestview and win big at home with a running clock against new london. i look for the trojans to finish 9-1 no worst than 8-2.

Well, no surprises this week. Mapletons QB and Hartley (WR)showed why they are the best in the FC at their position. Sounds like it was a good game. The Roughriders took another step forward with a good win over Plymouth setting up coach Stevenson's long awaited chance at defeating his Alma mater. Surprised that NL hung around the Eagles to make the game seem respectable. The Mapleton/SP game looks to be the game for the league championship.
