Mellow Mushroom in Polaris was a decent pizza place. If your down in Columbus sometime. We tried this a while back thought it was ok, but there has to be better in Columbus than this. Anybody know the best spot down there? And no it is not Giordano's. Not a fan of Giordano's Chicago style deep dish ? I didn't think it was all that good either.

Giodano's is good once in awhile when I get to Chicago. It's unique and I lokk forward to it every few years when I'm that way. I never CRAVE it.

Hounddog's (3 Degree Pizza) in Clintonville on High Street is the best, in my opinion. Mikey's Late Night Slice is good as well. A few others to try are Grandad's in Grandview and Natalie's Coal-Fired Pizza in Worthington. We like Hound Dog’s when we go down there.

We LOVED the Italian Oven! Used to drive over from Wooster to eat there. Great pizza and great food. So sad that it left.

Been over in Van Wert helping a buddy on a house for a few weekends, tried a couple pizza places. Klosterman Pizza Co and Nickos Pizza I would rate both of them pretty good. I liked Klosterman a bit better but my buddy liked Nickos a little better. I would get either again. Have not tried D' Amici's or Wild Willy's in town.

Here is another good wood fired artisan pizza spot that probably gets over looked a lot, 1285 Winery at the Blueberry Patch in Mansfield. It’s only open Wed thru Sat in the evenings.

Berwick in Green Camp is excellent. It’s a little carry out and at lunch time they have pizza you can get by the slice. Inexpensive and excellent.

Watched a game at Northwestern High School West Salem, freinds son played. Before the game we picked up a pizza from one of his favorites Koenigs Korner,a little spot in Lattasburg just a mile down the road from the stadium. We got the sheet pizza with pepperoni and italian sausage. I would highly recommend getting it with the sausage it had great flavor. I would get this pizza again would also like to try the fried chicken or a sub from there sometime. If you've never heard of Lattasburg like me its about 10-15min east of Ashland

Tano's Pizza is a decent pizza chain up in the northwest corner of the state.
Locations in towns like Napoleon, Wauseon, Swanton, Bryan, and a couple others.
We stopped at the Swanton location the other day while traveling west on 80/90 to Indiana.

I had DeStazios about five months ago. We liked it. The sauce was pretty sweet. Tried DeStazio's Pizza in Elmore a while back, thought it was quite good. Reminded me a little of Pisanello's. The owner was very friendly. Worth the stop.

My #1 is Bakers in Bucyrus but heard good things and want to try Buckeye fire and grill in Clyde. I guess they have a wood burning oven they cook in.

After the State meet we stopped in Grandville at Joe and Mimi's New York Style Pizzeria. It was decent but I think in Grandville I prefer Elm's Pizza Parlor a little more.
