Saw a number of people on here put the Pizza Post in Norwalk down as one of their favorites. So this past weekend we stopped and tried it. Got to say I feel sorry for the people in Norwalk if that’s what you considered best pizza. None of us were impressed, it was thin, greasy and lacked flavor. Best pizza in Norwalk is Pizza Brothers.

I liked Pizza Brothers when it was in Shelby, was disappointed to see it shut down.

The pit pie is what you have to try at the Pizza Post. It is very different from a foldover as it has both a top crust and a bottom crust - which allows the top crust to get a little crispier on the outside but stay soft inside. Delicious!!! When I worked there years ago, we would have people from out of town order 1/2 baked pit pies that they would ask us to box up so they could take home to freeze, and finish baking to eat at a later date. They couldn't find anything like it near them.

Heard from a friend that TNT Pizza in Sycamore Ohio is great, their favorite around the Bucyrus area. Can anybody confirm that it's good. I’ll have to give it a try one of these days. TNT pizza one of my favorites. Another hidden gem is breezy’s pizza in bucyrus.

Fast Eddie’s Pizza in Bellville I thought the pizza at this spot was very good, it’s one of my buddies favorites. Close to the bike trail near the bridge over the Clear Fork river on Rt 13. Eat a pizza then you can work it off on the bike trail.

Looks like we can take Galion off the list for having the best pizza place in this part of Ohio. A friend and I took the challenge to Galion this past weekend and tried Tubby’s Pizza and M&S Carry Out Pizza, neither were anything special. M&S was slightly better Sauce than Tubby’s but I would not go back for either. Also saw that Payne’s Pizza downtown had closed, that’s not surprising ate there last year and it was not that good.

Well I can tell you that you can rule out Shelby as well. Only interesting pizza place in Shelby is Napoli’s Pizza. I wouldn't call it a top pizza joint but worth trying. It’s the only old school pizza place left in town.

Pizza must be a hot topic, I see this thread through the first 5 pages had nearly 4000 views and 33 different people reply on it over those 5 pages. I guess we like our pizza.

On a trip to Bluffton University this past spring I remember stopping at Luke's in Bluffton and having a pizza, all I can say is I wouldn’t get it again. Too many other good ones out there to go back to this one. Probably should have gone to Padrone's.

Couple weeks back I tried the pizza at Matsos in Wooster after seeing it mentioned on here. I thought it was very good I’d give it 2 thumbs up. This place is worth driving to.

Drove thru Prospect many times finally stopped and had pizza at Sporty's there on the corner. It was another underwhelming pizza place I wouldn’t go back. Guess I should have stopped in Waldo and had a bologna sandwich at the G&R Tavern instead.

Coming back from Millersburg antiquing this past weekend, we stopped at Buckeye Deli in Nashville Ohio. It’s a little Pizza, Ice Cream, and Sub joint on Rt 60. The owner was very nice and the girls working there were very friendly. The pizza was decent not top five I’ve had but I would give it a thumbs up. I would give the staff a 10 on the customer service and I wouldn’t say that often. Worth stopping if your down in the Loudonville / Millersburg area.

Son is in pharmacy school at Findlay and we usually make it a point to get pizza at the The Beer Barrel whenever we're in town, very good! Also met his gf's parents this past weekend and they live near Chicago. They mentioned a "pizza tour" that takes place in Chicago and I think we're going to give it a shot sometime this summer.

Sounds like a cool trip, make sure you go up in the Sears tower (guess they call it the Willis Tower now ?) either name go up to the observation deck. I remember having a pizza up in Chicago years ago had like a cornmeal crust, sounds weird but it was pretty good think it was Gino's Pizza maybe don't remember any more. You may try one on that tour let me know what you think if you go.

Yes sir, looks like you can pizza tour NY. www.scottspizzatours.com/toursThink I would rather do this one, NY style is better than deep dish. I would also like to take the Cheesesteak Tour in Philadelphia.

Hey for you gluten free eaters I tried the gluten free pizza with some friends that eat gluten free at Two Cousins in Mansfield and it was very good. Do you know of any other good ones I will pass it along to them. Pizza Wheel in Bellevue now has a gluten free pizza. This is one of the better pizza places would have to think the gluten free would be good there.

Stopped and had pizza at Big D's Pizza in Clyde. Just another average pizza nothing special probably wouldn't stop back. If your in Clyde and want pizza I would recommend driving 10 minutes down Rt 20 to Bellevue and go to the Pizza Wheel.
