Tried Donna D's Pizza in Ashland. All I can say is it's a step up from Dominos but not close to being in the running for best pizza.

Tried Bruno's Pizza in Willard. Nothing special I would not put it in the running for best pizza in the area.

There was one in plaza on Castalia St that had the best antipasto salads with house dressing.

The Little Italy you're thinking of on Castalia that had a buffet closed back in the early 00s.
The new one has the same pizza recipe, but is a carry out/delivery only place. It's been open about 3-5 years now, and is located downtown on Kilbourne, right across from the CVS parking lot.

Alright, I made a special trip to Belltucky to get antipasto salads from Little Italy with house dressing, and it was every bit as good as years ago. In fact, this salad has both olives and banana peppers added to the mix. Thanks BellevueBuckeye for heads up.

Ate at The Brick Oven Bistro in Sandusky over the weekend. Second time there. Good pizza pretty slow service. We got there about 4:15PM and there were only 10-12 people in the restaurant and it still took 45 min to get our pizza. Once again good pizza but no Bakers or Peans.

Believe it or not they make a mean meatloaf in that stone oven. Brick oven beats Peans in my book but both are very good. Maybe it’s because I have Peans weekly and b oven 2x a yr. Don’t get to Bakers enough sadly.

Brick Oven is one of our favorites. Also don't get there often enough. Their sandwiches are very good as well as the appetizers. Love their bruschettas, and the mozzarella sticks are handmade on site. Delicious!

Had Rapid Fire Pizza in Sandusky. It was decent for a fast food type pizza. Heard the gluten free pizza there was pretty good also.

Yep, Rapid Fired is pretty decent. And so far it's the only place I've seen Pepsi's version of the Coke Freestyle machine.
Down in Georgia there's a chain called Your Pie, which has the same Subway/Chipotle assembly counter concept, but with a brick oven, and it's a little better than Rapid Fired.

Anybody else out there dislike those new fountain pop machines, the ones you select the pop. I think they distort the flavor it taste like it has multiple flavors mixed in the glass. I don't buy fountain drinks at places like Five Guys that have those machines.
