Yep, Rapid Fired is pretty decent. And so far it's the only place I've seen Pepsi's version of the Coke Freestyle machine. Down in Georgia there's a chain called Your Pie, which has the same Subway/Chipotle assembly counter concept, but with a brick oven, and it's a little better than Rapid Fired. Anybody else out there dislike those new fountain pop machines, the ones you select the pop. I think they distort the flavor it taste like it has multiple flavors mixed in the glass. I don't buy fountain drinks at places like Five Guys that have those machines. I think it’s interesting to use and if you work the flavors a little bit you can find something you like.

Ok finally tried Fort Ball Pizza in Tiffin. Actually had a little pizza challenge with a friend we tried Fort Ball and Reino's. We both thought the Fort Ball was the better pizza. Reino's reminded me a little of East of Chicago. Tiffin has a few decent pizza places I still need to try Napoli's I don't believe it is related to the one in Shelby. Fort Ball and Jac & Do's probably my favorites so far in Tiffin AJ's maybe 3rd. But still need to try Napoli's. I think Mansfield has 4 of the top pizzas around this area but Tiffin has a few good ones also.

It's funny you just post about pizza in Tiffin. I was just going to post on here anyone interested in finding best pizza in Tiffin should go to Pizza Palooza in Tiffin June 29th. from 6:30 to 9:30 at the East Green Ampitheater E Market St & Jefferson St You can buy tickets for 1 dollar good for a slice of pizza so for a dollar a slice you can try them all. Fort Ball, AJ's Heavenly, Reino's, Napoli's, Jac & Do's, Domino's, and Marco's, are all there.

I like them, though since I always take advantage of the opportunity to either mix in a fruit flavor or get something you don't see on most fountain drink machines (like Cherry Limeade), I can't really say whether or not the regular offerings are distorted since I haven't tried them on those machines.

I think it must leave residual amounts of the previous flavor in the tubes or something that causes the mixed flavor. Coke should taste like Coke not Coke Sprite or some other hint of a flavor. Another new and improved that's not. Give me the old 10oz bottle machines from the 70's that's when it was good. Anybody remember Tops Soda in those 10oz bottles the Red Pop was awesome.

May have to try and check this out, cheap way to try them out. I've had Jac & Do's thought it was pretty good. I think that's the one they sell at the football field during games and track season.

Pizza Palooza Tiffin
Attended the Pizza Palooza last year at East Green and they kept running out of pizza, quite often lines became long and slow. It was the first event at East Green, so I think they will be better prepared this year. The scheduled entertainment should be remarkably improved this year. Anybody tried Mazzone Pizza on Clark Ave in Cleveland ? It’s an Italian bakery that has a signature sheet pizza. I have heard that it’s one of the best pizzas in Ohio. Looking forward to trying it one of these days. I will post how it was.

In the Cleveland area in general, I have heard Edison's pizza in the Tremont neighborhood in Cleveland is good. Never had it.
Angelo's in Lakewood is the best pizza no question that I've had in the Cleveland area.

I would be interested to know, where you guys had 'the best pizza in your entire life', in or outside of Ohio. My all-time best I've ever eaten is at Joey D's Chicago Style Pizza and Eatery in Sarasota and Bradenton, Florida. The specialty pizza is aptly named 'Monster of the Midway'. Nothing else comes close. All of their four eateries are loaded with Chicago sports memorabilia, the Blackhawks, Cubs, White Sox and Bears, many of them personally signed by a whole host of sports legends. The Italian family moved from Chicago in the 60's and all the brothers are very engaging with the customers and treat everyone like family. www.joeydspizzabradenton.com/index.phpwww.facebook.com/JoeyDsBradenton/

In the many trips we’ve taken to the Outer Banks area we’ve tried probably over a dozen places. Pizzazz Pizza Co, Slice Pizzeria, Dare Devil's Pizzeria, Duck Pizza Co, American Pie Pizza, Nags Head Pizza Co are only a few I can remember the names of.
But by far the best one is the New York Pizza Pub only one I have gone back to more than once. Think it was started by retired NY police officers. They claim to have the legendary, hand-tossed, brick oven, New York-style pizza pies, and it’s true they are quite good. This is a favorite of mine.

Sportsjock, since you are in Findlay from time to time try out "Dougie Johns" It is a newer place on Main St right next to the bridge. Very good reviews.

Driven by it a million times and always thought the patio and cafe tables, with the river view was neat and never thought about the pizza shop. I'll give it a shot. Have you tried the Fireside Brick Oven Pub & Grille in the 300 block of S. Main? Excellent Pizza and other Italian dishes. I also like the Greek Garden as well.

Speaking of Columbus, Hounddog's (3 Degree Pizza) on N. High Street is our go-to. They also have an extensive 'frosty pop' selection to pair with the pie. I couldn't recommend a better spot.

Since I attended college in Chicago, Giordono's was among my favorite spots. Think it's on Cicero Avenue. Pricey, but worth the experience. I'm in agreement on Myles in BG, hated to see it go.

There is a Giordano's on Polaris Parkway. While the pizza is amazing, the service and location are not great. If you order online, or ahead for pickup, the pizza is routinely beyond the promised window. I've walked in many times to pickup where several patrons are already arguing with staff about the wait time. I've decided not to dine-in for this reason, as it gets super contentious at the counter. I don't think they properly anticipated the initial onslaught of business, and thereby failed to hire, staff, and plan accordingly. Every time we go back, I'm hoping they've closed the gap, but it's still rough. Complaints aside, I am glad that we have this little 'slice' of Chicago in Columbus/Westerville.

Recently stopped at a spot in Killbuck Ohio while passing through the Pizza Parlor II. We had a pizza and a pizza sub. The pizza was average nothing special but the sub was very good. Not quite as good as a Leaning Tower sub but still one of the better ones I had.

Heard from a friend that TNT Pizza in Sycamore Ohio is great, their favorite around the Bucyrus area. Can anybody confirm that it's good. I’ll have to give it a try one of these days. TNT pizza one of my favorites. Another hidden gem is breezy’s pizza in bucyrus. Tried this TNT Pizza in Sycamore Ohio the other day, I would agree it was pretty good. Worth the stop.
