TNT pizza one of my favorites. Another hidden gem is breezy’s pizza in bucyrus. Tried this TNT Pizza in Sycamore Ohio the other day, I would agree it was pretty good. Worth the stop. Their pizza is very good. A little biased, since they are good close friends of my wife and I.

After having tried both pizza places in New London Mr Pizzahead and the Pizza House I got to say I liked both. No real favorite between the two stood out I would recommend either. Mr Pizzahead probably had better eye appeal and crust but both taste good. Pizza House has a dine in area where Pizzahead was carry out only.

Ok here is a favorite of mine I only get once a year Puglisi’s Pizza. They set up a trailer at the Richland County Fair. Talked to them last night told them I can remember getting slices of pizza from them since I was a teenager, that’s been a few years ago. Asked them how long they have been sitting up at the fair and he told me 41 years. They are set up this year across from the pony barn. The pony barn is a few barns down from the smelly chicken barn. Go out to the fair and have a good time and maybe try a slice of Puglisi’s.

Had Besta Fasta in Ontario tonight it was an ok pizza. Good crust but it needs a better sauce. It has that vinegary tangy type sauce, we like a little sweeter sauce.

I haven’t read every single post on this thread, but has anyone tried DeStazio’s in Elmore?

I haven’t read every single post on this thread, but has anyone tried DeStazio’s in Elmore? I haven't eaten it, don't believe anyone has talked about it on here. Let us know if you try it and what you think.

Disappointing to here the Village Pizza House in Attica closed down. We've lost too many mom and pop places to the big chains.

I had DeStazios about five months ago. We liked it. The sauce was pretty sweet.

We had Dougie Johns last Saturday in Findlay and thoroughly enjoyed it. The boneless wings (chunks) were delicious and my wife said she liked these better than BDubs’ chunks. The wings came with a homemade house ranch dipping sauce and that was worth the price of going. The manager brought another (and bigger) ranch cup once my wife told him how salivating it was. We used that with our pizza and the pizza was delicious. This place is definitely on our places to visit again in Findlay. If I am not mistaken, it is not too far from Donnell Stadium.

You are mistaken, Dougie Johns is on the south side of the Main St. bridge. Donnell Stadium is 12 blocks south of that. Dougie Johns is on my list.

Ok finally tried Fort Ball Pizza in Tiffin. Actually had a little pizza challenge with a friend we tried Fort Ball and Reino's. We both thought the Fort Ball was the better pizza. Reino's reminded me a little of East of Chicago. Tiffin has a few decent pizza places I still need to try Napoli's I don't believe it is related to the one in Shelby. Fort Ball and Jac & Do's probably my favorites so far in Tiffin AJ's maybe 3rd. But still need to try Napoli's. I think Mansfield has 4 of the top pizzas around this area but Tiffin has a few good ones also. After having Napoli Pizza in Tiffin, I would stick with Fort Ball and Jac & Do's at the top followed by AJ's and Napoli. Tiffin has some good pizza places. probably wouldn't put any of them in the top spot compared to some in Mansfield but definitely a better selection than most towns.

I figure in a college town, you have to be good. Otherwise, out the door you go.

I stopped at the Brick Oven Bistro by myself last in between talking on WLEC and the Edison vs. St. Paul football scrimmage. I ordered a personal with pepperoni and mushroom. Not only was it way bigger than I expected, it was super delicious. I look forward to going back with the family soon.

With friends this weekend we got Papa Johns. One of the pizzas was gluten free I tried it. Gotta say for as much as we all like regular Papa Johns their gluten free needs work. Limp crust that didn't taste all that good, expected better from them. I've had gluten free pizza from other places that you couldn't tell much difference from their normal pizza. Like I said as far as a chain pizza Papa Johns has been one of are favorites. Not the case with their gluten free.

Mellow Mushroom in Polaris was a decent pizza place. If your down in Columbus sometime. We tried this a while back thought it was ok, but there has to be better in Columbus than this. Anybody know the best spot down there? And no it is not Giordano's.

Anybody know the best spot down there? And no it is not Giordano's. Hounddog's (3 Degree Pizza) in Clintonville on High Street is the best, in my opinion. Mikey's Late Night Slice is good as well. A few others to try are Grandad's in Grandview and Natalie's Coal-Fired Pizza in Worthington.

Couple of us stopped and tried pizza from the Simple Fire Pizza truck in Mansfield. We all though it was pretty good. It's new location is 1740 Park Avenue West 11am - 7pm Wednesday - Saturday.
