It's only my second day of trolling and you are already running out of steam? I'm sure it can be tiring carrying Rambo's jockstrap all day, but come on.

I totally believe in EQUAL RIGHTS. Title IX does not spread, create or endorse EQUAL RIGHTS. 100% agree. Equal rights to all. Everyone should have the right to succeed or fail based on their abilities and work ethic, and not on their sex or race. If a woman has a 130 IQ, Masters in Computer Science and applies for the computer programming job against 2 males with 105 IQ's and HS diploma's then the woman should get the job. What is happening in the University setting in 2018. A woman with a 102 IQ, 3.0 GPA applies for the job vs 3 men with 130 IQ's and 3.9 GPA's. The woman is given the job, "for diversity".

I can agree completely with this Rambo The male in the country has become the most discriminated against especially a Caucasian male. Because of forced diversity.

Would it kill the administrators to establish some ground rules for the website and assign moderators to prevent this unintelligible nonsense. This website only encourages trolls to participate and they continue to pour gasoline on the dumpster fires that these discussions devolve into.
Not going to attract quality posters or attention if this is acceptable.

Never said we had to ban posters, but you can certainly delete posts and steer discussion in a different direction. It's a start. Even if we ban certain posters (which on a site like this, it's not hard to keep up with duplicate accounts) it's not going to kill the site any faster than the trolls.

Guess who the best Chess players in the World are? A) Women B) Even split of men and women C) Men Answer: C) Men To be great at Chess you need a really high IQ, women's IQ's never get that high, just like women never run as fast as the fastest men, lift as much as the strongest men, etc. Now go back to your women studies class and learn about how amazing women are and how they can do anything a man can do. I guess that must mean that Eastern Europeans and Russians are inherently smarter than Americans as well.

I certainly have refrained from posting because of the way discussions tend to go on this site, so surely I can infer that there is a possibility that it would have an effect on others (whether its preventing certain people from joining or commenting in general). I'm proposing that if we create an environment that facilitates cogent discussion and limit personal attacks/trolling that creates idiotic discourse, we can create a healthy community here. You can reject my reasoning and state there is no proof that it would show results. I find it hard to believe, however, that you convince yourself that the site is fine the way it is and that there should not even be an attempt to try anything.

I agree Jimbo, I think you should create a site that has an environment that facilitates cogent discussion. Leave this site to those who enjoy talking sports and may at times show their fanatic sides that lean in judgment towards their favorite teams. First, the word facilitate means "to make (cogent discussions) easier". I'm not suggesting we solely have cogent discussions. I'm not against hot takes, people showing emotion over games, showing enthusiasm for teams, jokes, whatever... This is along the lines of what I'm looking for: forums.footballsfuture.com/guidelines/This is a football forum with rules that prevent personal insults and trolling from derailing discussion. Hard to actually talk about anything when certain posters go on a tirade about things that aren't on topic (I realize I'm doing that now) and start a flame war. There was a topic posted; we should stick to that topic. There is room for fun and silliness, but not to the extent where we have arrived now. I don't know, is this too hard to ask for? This website (football future) seems to do fine.

K, sorry I bothered you guys. I'll just discuss local sports on a NFL forum from now on. No bother. Your opinion on how this site should be moderated is the kind of discussion that is allowed here. I know because I have been critical on this site(and it's predecessor) and they have never censored me. Sites that have a stricter moderation policies usually make criticism of administrators and moderators a serious offense. Ironically, your post questioning the staff's judgement would probably result in discipline under the level of moderation you suggest. The people who run this site and the previous one have always resisted heavy-handed moderation. That results in an 'edgy' message board, which is what I prefer. To each his own I guess. Are you aware that you can block posters if you find their posts objectionable? The ability of the individual member to block content they don't wish to see, while enjoying the freedom to express the complete range of their own views, is ideal IMO. We have some smart guys on here, but they are not shrinking violets. I wanna hear what people really think, not just what the 'community' deems appropriate. I'm not sure these guys could coexist under tight moderation...Dr Torch, WF, Galion, Dude, Rambo, Scooter, Hoss, and a few others. We could add a hundred new posters and not fill the hole left by pushing out 3 or 4 independent thinkers.

You don’t want to make things too uptight on here. People want the human side of live post that’s why they are on here. If you just want to look at boring stats from a game grab a newspaper. People will get bored and stop posting and viewing . Some times live conversation goes askew for a bit that’s the real world.
Hey Jim You know back in the 40’s there was a guy that wanted to monitor how everything was written and what you were allowed to read. He wanted to control all the info people had access to. His name was Adolf Hitler.

Myself I like the fact you have a guy like Rambo on here stating what he thinks at least he is not afraid to log on and say something. Maybe it’s in a way that’s offensive to some comical to others but his message clear and it is not off base from the topic of male discrimination. I take it that his point of view is if we want to level the playing field and make things equal to all male, female, black, white we need to stop giving special privileges to some and lump everyone together. That is what everyone has been asking for right to be considered equally the same. On the other hand I do appreciate the other points of view also even if I disagree with some of them.
Don’t mean to single you out or speak for you Rambo, and let me know if I was off.
Now my point of view is that as much as everyone may want to be lumped together as equal we really are not. Men and women were not created physically equal and there is nothing we can do to change that. That is why there isn’t too many women playing in the NFL or challenging Brock Lesnar to a match. So how do we stop punishing men because they are able to play football and women for the most part are not. You say that it is ok to punish other mens sports opportunities because of one sport. I still say that is BS. And don’t tell me Wah tell your kid to get straight A’s not all kids have that ability either but most of us fall into that category and are some of the most worthwhile people in society. Why should all these universities have stopped all these mens sports over an unrealistic dream (Title IX) to say everyone is equal when they are not women cant play football and that is too bad. If they could have we probably would not be having this post on here.

The point behind my sarcasm was if this site were to tighten up the posting would be reduced by half or maybe more. The freedoms allowed on this site is what sparks many conversations and keeps a thread going or pushes it into a new direction. At any time a poster can start a topic they want.

You typically get a math degree for free with most CS majors these days. My statement comes from a member of management for the largest privately owned software company in the world. They NOW, just the past couple of years, favor math majors over computer science majors. The more courses, the more credits, the more years specializing in math, over all else the better.

Some other brain competitions that prove men are smarter than women
Jeopardy - 22 of the top 25 highest money winners are - Men Scrabble - The Top 50 rated players in the world right now - All Men Crossword Puzzles - The American Crossword Puzzle Tournament has been going on since 1978. Women won in '78 and '79, Men have won every year since, except for 2001. Chess - Already went over that
So men are better at Football Basketball Soccer Swimming Running Lifting Jumping crossword puzzles golfing chess checkers scrabble poker . . .
Remember to be politically correct at work, because women can do anything a man can do. Then when you leave work you can rejoin reality and tell the truth.
