Glenville is by far the best team in this region. not any more. Put on 3 year probation and ineligible for 2018 state playoffs.

This may not be over yet. I won't be the least bit surprised if Glenville/CMSD takes this to court.

Glenville doesn’t have a leg to stand on. 17 kids are suppose to playing at their home school because the sport is offered there.

CMSD has already said they're filing an appeal with OHSAA. If that doesn't work, I'd be willing to bet they'll try the courts, regardless if they have a leg to stand on or not. Like I said, this may not be over.

Region is shaping up to be a slug fest. If Glenville does make it, do they have any studs? What do we know about Bay, are they legit? More like patty cake.

Willard,
May be a patty cake in comparison to the other D3 regions, but a slug fest for this region. SBC teams will end up playing each other again so you have the rematch factor.
The one thing that I notice out of our region is each teams got a stud but no one has a team full of studs.

This area hasn’t seen a team that is truly top to bottom elite, that can play at the week 14-15 time of the year in a long time.
There have been plenty of talented teams, but they have only had 5-6 guys, to play and play with these other programs you have to have more, much more.

Bay went 10-0 last year losing to TCC 35-0 in the regional final. This region looks like anyone in the top 8 could win it. Going to be fun watching this pan out.

Kritz,
I don’t think there is a stand out team that is a cut above the rest.
Should be a slug fest.

Clyde takes over top spot followed by Norwalk, Bay, and Tiffin. Sandusky, which had top spot through 5 weeks, is 7th.

Why do they still show Glenville in region 10?

It's pending on appeal. Also, Eitel did an additional update that has Bay and Norwalk flip-flopped

Let’s say hypothetically The “ville” makes it in. Do they win the region?
Pending their appeal, is that expected to take longer than the regular season run?
Lexington batting .500 and are 7.

No excuse for that with the running clock rule.

101 points..... why wasn’t there but I feel like there was some td’s that didn’t need to be scored. I will say if you can’t stop the team with even their worst players, what do you....?
Who ever beats Massillon in the playoffs or McKinley when they play should have some type of humorous sign referencing this game.

birdman glenville is not going to win the region and the teams in the senate league are week that they beat have 3 wins or less then have john marshall coming friday with a 4-3 record including 2 forfeit losses, and finish with john hay(3-5).the only team that can really help glenville is from olentangy liberty(5-3) but i wont think it will be enough to move up far. the team that knocked bay off from first, that is elyria catholic that was their first win against a winning team this year(6-2)now other teams in their region bay has revere(5-3)and valley forge(6-2),lexington 8th has madison(1-7) and canton south(2-6)so i look for lexington to drop from the top 8,and rocky river has parma sr(2-6) and elyria catholic.so i like the winner of clyde and norwalk to take first in region but in week ten clyde has 2-6 bellvue and norwalk has a big point game at columbian. so ilike to see norwalk beat clyde and columbian and take the region in 2 weeks.i like norwalk because they are very balance on offense and defense.

Smitty,
I’m following you. I guess at least in region 10 nothing is set in stone just yet.

I hope the region pans out that the SBC teams play the out of area schools to see just how good we are against the rest.

I now live and work in the Massillon area. Everyone wants to demonize the Tigers. Spoke to some folks who were there. Mass did all they could to limit the damage. At some point the other team has to take some of the blame.

Sharon,
I hope you’re working anywhere but Indian River JCF!!
I too talked to a few Massillon faithful and they were pretty spot on with Sharons peeps.
Interesting to see how that region pans out with my new team Wadsworth looking at a 10-0 season and eventually having a meet up with Massillon.

I work in Mount Eaton actually and live in Portage Lakes. 20 mins or so from Massillon. Funny, when I told my wife about this, she simply said... Don't Suck. Hahaha
Go to Wadsworth all the time for shopping. Cool little town.

Like I said, this may not be over. This is over. The only thing still active is the CMSD wasting tax dollars. The rule is very clear and everyone knows it. OHSAA is at a point where they are ready to take a stance.

The irony, from I understanding, CMSD helped with this policy
