Players used to take out insurance policies to cover their potential financial loss due to injury and would finish out there college seasons. That must not be the case anymore.

People were ripping Denzel Ward last year for skipping the Bowl game. Those people are morons.

People were ripping Denzel Ward last year for skipping the Bowl game. Those people are morons. The perfectly healthy Denzel Ward turning his back on his team mates is a total different situation than Nick Bosa. Denzel's self serving declaration is in direct contradiction of what team sports is supposed to be all about. When you go into battle, some of the soldiers can't call in sick and rely on his replacement to do his pledged duty. A healthy Bosa would have at the head of the line and leading this team into all the remaining battles, bumps, bruises, sore muscles and sprains, he would have been there.

Today when Urban was asked about his wide receivers, he said they were the 2nd best group on team, next to the offensive line. Which sounds like he's indifferent about how they block for the run game, but is very happy with how they pass protect for Haskins.

Can Ohio State win a Championship being a pass first team? They have the 3rd best passing attack in the country. Discounting the games against Oregon State and Temple Ohio State is averaging 100 yards rushing/game for 100th place in the country. Joe Germaine holds the Ohio State record for most yards passing in a season at 3330. Ohio State through 7 games has 2600 yards passing.

If a player doesn't play in a playoff game then I'd question them but all bowl games are jokes. Toilet Bowl, Pig Pen Bowl, Septic Tank Bowl, Bend Over and Grunt Bowl. Bowl games are just games for Universities to extract more money from players they will not pay. There is a reason why we went from a handful of Bowls to 40. Universities love making money off these kids and not paying them a cent.

Bowl games are the NIT of college football. More FAKE no STATS! The NIT doesn't make these kind of payouts to participants. If not a semi-final game Rose - $40M Sugar - $40M Orange - $27.5M Fiesta - $18M Citrus - $8.6M Alamo - $8M Holiday - $6.4M Outback - $6.4M Texas - $6.3M Cotton - $6M Camping World - $5.8M Music City - $5.7M AND you only have to win one game instead of five to get a trophy.

College bowl season, much like March Madness, is what it's all about.
NFL, with all their money and influence, can't come close to matching either one.

Rocky Lombardi is my new favorite player. This kid understands that a name matters.
Also of note is MSU is up 13-6 vs Purdue at the half. It’s refreshing watching a team play defense like MSU. Urban Meyer should be taking notes. I wonder what Urb is doing right now....

Urb gave up 49 pts to a 4-4 team. Dantonio just gave up 13 to that team. Maybe Urb can hold Iowa under 55 the next time he gets a chance vs them. Step it up Urb hopefully you will be prepared for your Monday press conference and not claim you haven’t watched any film on Nebraska.

They were talking about the Nebraska game tonight on 11 Warriors radio and one of the commentators brought up the "INFAMOUS" Joe Bauserman passing chart that hit the internet and was so great a few years ago.

the W.V. vs. Texas game proved to be the best game of the day....so far. College football needs to remove or alter the unsportsmanship penalty that is thrown after every single late big game touchdown. It's so lame. West Virginia QB scores the winning two point conversion on a QB keeper and extends the ball to gain the penalty. That's right, merely extend the ball gets you flagged....lol !!!!!!

That is not the same as saying I will be coaching Ohio State next year. You're right, more like saying longer than next year. Not even a Dr. of Meme can say with certainty he will be on this planet longer than tomorrow. This from someone that survived a car accident which my surgeons at Cleveland Metro told me most don't survive.
