in first is unbeaten clearfork but they have(2-7)marion harding left, then stmarys memorial(9-0)has a big game against(8-1)wapakoneta if stmarys win they will climb over clearfork for first and clinch the wbl outright.third place van wert (6-3) plays defiance(4-5),clearview jumped into fourth plays brooklyn(3-6) fifth is huron(6-3) who hosts edison(3-6) sixth is kenton(5-4)but plays lima bath(0-9) so the wildcats should drop.next is sparta highland(8-1 and host a big game with northmor(9-0) if they win they should jump ahead of huron and kenton,8th is napoleon(6-3) who has bowling green(4-5)ninth is bryan(6-3)plays evergreen(4-5)tenth is orange(6-3)plays beachwood(6-3) and 11th is port clinton and must beat Oak harbor(8-1) but will it be enough to get in i dont know.

^^^ Too much to speculate, and comprehend. For Port Clinton, They would need to beat Oak Harbor, And need a lot of help. For Huron, Beat Edison for an away playoff game, Lose to Edison and Huron is out. Let's just wait till Monday, and go to the Donut Shop, to find out.

I see Bellevue has not been mathematically eliminated yet. I wonder what crazy sequence of week 10 games going just right would need to happen for us to get in at 4-6.

Let's hope the Tigers squeeze in. I'm told by my sources that Ohio state scout Lou sasshole will be at the Tigers playoff game to watch Paul Hinckley if the Tigers get in.
On an administrative note Ryan Pickett did not play for the Tigers last night he was busy shooting ducks. The Tigers do not expect him back this year. That's all for now.

The top half of this region is loaded. St. Marys Memorial and Clear Fork will be tough matchups for anyone. Van Wert is on a real roll right now.

I still feel Steubenville is the favorite, but would like to see someone else win it

Truthfully, I haven't. Just my gut feeling with their lopsided scores in the always rugged WBL

Obviously they play in a strong league. Maple saying they will win D4 leads me think think must be extremely good

Don't sleep on Clinton-Massie. They've played a really tough schedule and beaten some really good teams thus far. I'm sure they'd like another crack at Big Red as well.

St. Marys and Wapak are very good, they play each other Friday night. Both run the ball about 95 percent of the time (literally). They each average 5 passes per game. Their offenses aren't fancy, it's basically "here we come, try to stop us." Both are solid defensively, but I might give a slight nod to Wapak as the better defense.
Van Wert has won six straight, they have some very nice athletes and are playing good ball offensively and defensively. QB has rushed for over 1,000 yards and passed for over 1,000. RB has nearly 1,000 yards rushing.
utsherman is right about Clinton Massie, and of course you can't count out Steubenville in D-IV.
D-III, Region 12 is absolutely loaded. The state champ will likely come from that region.

Fun tidbit; Coach Frye went from former NOL Bucyrus to Memorial to Wapakoneta back to Memorial. We'll call this the Frye Bowl

Spoke with close family friend Joe Eitel and he is saying that Huron is a team absolutely no one in D5 wants to play. Whether they get in as an 8 seed or a 4, Joe think the Tigers are poised to run the table.

No one has to worry in D5 because your Tigers are D4. Oops, I'm late for Bingo

Huron got beat by D5 Oak Harbor. Soft as ever kitty cats Tip of the cap to the rockets for topping Huron. However, I think Huron beats most D5 playoffs teams. Oak harbor did a good job holding Hinckley to only 105 yards on the ground, he averages 216.4 per contest this year. I don't see the rockets or anyone else in D5 repeating that success.

Just be glad its not 2007 when OH had Dustin Hernandez running downhill all night. I remember the poor safety that was half Dusty's size just take an awful beating trying to tackle him. Brutal

Brutal Dusty was a hell of a player, not as good as Paul Hinckley though. Tigers would've just put Hinckley in at linebacker and he would've knocked Hernandez on his a * *. Go Tigers

Looks like Port Clinton played themselves out of the playoffs, By loosing 24-7 to Oak Harbor. Huron might get in, beating Edison 24-14. If Huron gets in, Looks like they'd be #8 @ #1 Clearfork.

Just spoke with Joe, who confirmed the tigers are in as the 8th seed and will travel to clear folk. Joe loves the tigers in this one, says their schedule is far tougher than clear folks, and thinks the tigers will be well prepared. Also cited that the tigers upset #1 seed liberty Benton a few years back.
I love the Tigers to win this region and then the state. Hinckley should be considered for Mr. football.
Go Tigers
