Clyde can clinch the Lake Division championship outright with a win.
Bellevue leads the all time series 29-14-3, and is looking for their first 3 game winning streak over Clyde since the 9 game streak from 1996-2004.
Ever since that streak ended this series has been pretty back and forth, with Clyde having a 7-6 edge:
2005 - Clyde 28-12 2006 - Bellevue 19-10 2007 - Clyde 49-21 2008 - Bellevue 36-20 2009 - Bellevue 25-17 2010 - Clyde 17-0 2011 - Clyde 14-7 2012 - Bellevue 14-7 2013 - Clyde 23-0 2014 - Clyde 42-6 2015 - Clyde 36-22 2016 - Bellevue 66-22 2017 - Bellevue 33-14

Hopefully, Norwalk can do its business, and Bellevue pulls the "upset."

Will Clyde sit some starters? They have clinched home field and the conference. Why take a chance? I believe Bellevue has a chance to make the playoffs with a win and some help.

You think Clyde will rest guys, be fine with losing the game and sharing the SBC title? NO WAY. And I don't know of any team that would. Tiffin has already clinched a playoff spot and will host. Are they resting guys tonight vs Norwalk in order to be ready for week 11?

Are they guys tonight vs Norwalk in order to be ready for week 11? Columbians starting Quarterback could be back today but probably not much playing time. Lutz said in the paper they need to leave today's game healthy. I wouldn't rest players if I was Clyde though.

Besides the obvious that's on the line, Clyde will not cut corners to beat Bellevue.

Great team win tonight Red. Must admit I didn’t see the last two weeks coming but the boy play tough and hit hard tonight. Really controlled the game moving easily the entire game. Clyde has 2-3 deep pass plays including scores that was most of their yardage if I had to guess. Go Redmen

Clyde came into this game 7-2 because they had won a bunch of games that came down to the wire and Bellevue came in 3-6 because they had lost a bunch of game that came down to the wire.....and tonight the tables turned.
On the 3rd play from scrimmage Bellevue's Dylan Hundley sustained an injury that required him being taken off the field on a stretcher to the ambulance. Hopefully he's ok, and I haven't seen any updates on him.
Bellevue scored on their 2nd possession and then went up 14-0 early in the 2nd quarter, both drives capped by passes to Fitzgerald. Bellevue had another scoring opportunity with under 3 mins to go in the half, but a dropped pass became an INT. Bellevue forced a 3 and out and had the ball near midfield with a little over a minute to go, but fumbled the ball back to Clyde on a sack. Clyde's offense had been held in check to that point, but cashed in on the momentum with a 3 play drive capped with a pass over the middle to get to 14-7 at half.
The 3rd started with 3 straight turnovers on downs between the 40s, two by Clyde, and then Bellevue went on a drive to go up 20-7 early in the 4th (PAT off the upright.) After this Clyde faced their 3rd straight 4th down in the midfield area, but this time hit a pass down inside the 10 then punched it in soon after. Clyde then kicked a high short kickoff down the sideline that one of their kids recovered, and was initially ruled Clyde ball. However, after a lengthy conference it was ruled Bellevue's ball, and I can only assume that another official overruled the initial call and said the recovery had been out of bounds, but I don't know for sure what happened.
Bellevue moved the ball to the Clyde 21 before a turnover on downs with 6 mins left, setting up Clyde's 79 yard drive to take the lead with 1:54 left. Clyde did the short kick thing again, which Bellevue recovered. After a couple plays Bellevue was into Clyde territory, and this video shows the rest of the game winning drive and 2 pt conversion in real time:
The clock was mistakenly run on the 2 point conversion from 30 to 25 secs, which I pointed out to those around me....but since Clyde threw a pick on their first play that mistake ended up not mattering.
