Playoff Chances for SBC Teams (Lake and Bay) going into week 10 per Drew Pasteur
All teams that I don't list are eliminated
Clyde- Clinched
Oak Harbour- Clinched
Norwalk-Clinched
Tiffin-Clinched
Sandusky- 95% with a W/ 65% with a L
Huron- 99% with a W/ 71% with a L
Bellevue- 13% with a W/ Eliminated with a L
Port Clinton- 99% with a W/ Eliminated with a L
If you want the percentage that a team gets a home playoff game, just ask.

Norwalk-Tiffin winner clinch home game. Either/or could lose, and still may get a home game, especially Truckers. However, I don't want Norwalk to enter postseason on a 2 game losing streak

Norwalk and Tiffin are both going to be home.

Likely correct. If Tiffin loses, only 4 percent chance being 5th seed. Pasteur has all Norwalk percentages in top 4 seeds

There are 3 teams from outside the top 4 that are still mathematically alive to pass the loser of Norwalk/Columbian: Rocky River, Bowling Green, Padua Franciscan.
All 3 have games against 6-3 or better teams in week 10, and would also need 2nd level help to jump Norwalk or Columbian.

However, the second level games are very tough games or league games.

Padua is in with a grin should it win. A loss puts them at 45 percent chance to reach postseason

I think Padua ends up in the 9 hole.

Oak Harbor has clinched a home game and will be either the 3rd or 4th seed in D5R18
Elyria Catholic can still pass them for #4, as 2 of their 2nd level teams have games today (Villa Angela St Joseph and Cleveland CC)
also, (7-2) Anna has a game today against (2-7) Delphos St John's and can pass Pleasant for #5 with a win.
these matchups are all still possible for Oak Harbor: (3) Oak Harbor vs (6) Anna (4) Oak Harbor vs (5) Anna (4) Oak Harbor vs (5) Pleasant (3) Oak Harbor vs (6) Pleasant

They are 7_2, play in the MAC, I would say they are most likely pretty good. Oak Harbor has a great team though so I like their chances.

And teams that win the MAC usually win a state championship. They have had 3 state champions before (div5, 6 and 7) the same year.

An Anna matchup would be very interesting being they are from the MAC Is anna good? When you're 8-2 playing in the MAC, you're about 3 scores better than similar-sized schools in this area

Villa Angela St Joseph is trailing Warren JFK 34-8 in the 3rd. I don't know if Elyria Catholic needed both VASJ and Cleveland CC to win today to pas Oak Harbor, or just one of them.

Anna 39 DSJ 14 final. Anna will be the 5 seed, and has just won a share of their first MAC title in football (they joined the league in 2005)
VASJ lost...waiting on the update to see if that will lock EC in at #4, or whether they can still pass OH if Cleveland CC wins.

I think it’s crazy that half of the div3 reg10 is SBC schools and someone the first round not one matchup between any of them

With as many of the SBC schools in the playoffs, Maybe the SBC is becoming a tough league, Like that MAC league is.
