Did they have a good one on JV last year? Sowers did decent last year on junior varsity. Would be nice to see her swing to the 2 and move dials to the starting 1 spot, where she belongs.

Yes , Kali Sowers did a Great Job on jv team last year . She is very capable to run the #1 spot !!! Not saying she isn't capable but she has a good shot and I think it would benefit the team better if she were at the 2 spot instead of the 1, spotting up. Dials handles the ball better, IMO. What does it matter if she is at 1 or 2, as long as she is a starter and she is in the best possible position to help the team win? You are acting like the #1 spot wears a crown when in reality the #1 spot sets everyone else up to be successful.

Sowers has been starting, I've seen her and Dials both on the floor together but crunch time Dials is the one that has been in there. Against quicker teams that press I like both Sowers and Dials in the game at the same time.

I agree, they should both be in there at the same time because they both handle the ball well and you need that during crunch time.

Yes, Bias is hurt with a labrum injury that she suffered a few years ago as a sophomore. Kochendoerfer is hoping she will be back before the end of the season.

I'm sorry to hear that about Bias. Hopefully she will be able to fully recover. It's tough to miss anytime, but especially during your senior season.

Fremont Ross crushed Port Clinton on Thursday, 52-17. If I'm not mistaken, Ross will have the Norwalk Lady Truckers tomorrow afternoon at the Garage.

Ross girls beat Norwalk, 46-32. Ross moves to 6-2 on the year. Unfortunately for the Lady Truckers, this game was scheduled a year too late at least. Norwalk will be lucky to win 5 this year. Congrats to Lady Giants
