Urban Meyer had 2 weeks to fix the run game and defense. He failed MUCH MUCH improved run game responsible for Ohio State's 3rd TD of 2nd half. Dumbo knows nothing.

An ugly win against a bad team will not help Ohio State in the Committee Poll. Ohio State has too many weaknesses to get blow out wins in the last 3 games, to impress the Committee.

I will be shocked if urban is coaching next year. Esecpn i feel have accomplished what they set out for, which is a distracted osu team and a wore out beat down coach that has had to spend his energy on other things other than preparing his team to be a top 4 team. Osu is an average team with above average talent ( though that is debatable at times) that has received below average coaching up to this point this season. Osu coaching staff had 2 weeks to coach em up and get some fire put back into players and that was as a lackadaisical performance ive seen in a very long time and osu should feel ashamed of themselves for overall lack of effort and lack of caring. Nebraska is one awful football team and we didnt deserve to win that game. Not the qb’s fault so save me the crap willard. There are so many things wrong with this team right now and it starts with the man at the top

The announcers were blaming Ohio State troubles on Urban Meyer's health condition. Apparently, He had brain surgery in 2014,And continues to have headaches from cysts on his brain. I would be surprised if he doesn't retire after this season.

It is a congenital condition. He was born with it. He has known about it since he was 30. He has often had headaches, when he gets one he takes a pill. There is nothing different with his "brain" than 4 years ago. Urban released a statement this week that said he is committed to The Ohio State University and will be the head coach in the future.

Throws an INT in the end zone, into double coverage, when there's a wide open receiver underneath. Throws a pass into the face mask of a D-tackle. Over throws 5 passes, he would have completed earlier in the season. Nebraska's Freshman QB completed a higher % of his passes than Ohio State's previous Heisman candidate did against Nebraska's "dumpster fire defense". Is afraid to run for a first down against a DB that is 35 pounds lighter. Has THE worst slide of any QB in history. Playing for the name on the back of the jersey? HOWEVER, I am not asking for the starter to be replaced by his backup, like the haters do. When you whine about coaching, you miss the fact that there is NO leadership on this team. No JT, no Billy Price, no Tyquan Lewis. Ohio State's highest profile Captain leaving his team in mid-semester doesn't help. Just the facts.

Nebraska’s dumpster fire of a defense and lack of depth on the defensive line were as much of the reason as anything Ohio State did differently. Ohio State will get a much better idea of how their running game is doing when they go to East Lansing.

I cannot recall such an uninspired group of players, that you can see is simply going through the motions. No emotion from this team and as WF alluded, sadly lacking for team leaders. The single team leader and biggest cheerleader, that had the ability to motivate his team mates has left due to injuries and rehabilitation. The void is obvious. The players show no sense of urgency or emotion, don't know the answer.
The LB's are finally positioned properly and able to move about and make plays.
The offense is lethargic once again, but for the first time since early season, the Weber and Dobbins ran with determination and purpose.
What I really want to see in the coming weeks is the offense get back to the hurry up, quick huddle offense. Seems that quick tempo gave the offense consistency and rhythm.

Well, Burrow is being exposed right now. I know Alabama is Alabama, but LSU’s defense has carried them to this point. Is Haskins a statue? Yes. But you have to respect his arm. LSU has 133 total yards of offense at home. Even LA-Lafayette scored 14 on Bama.

A few positives did come out of the game. When our top safety Fuller got booted for targeting,,a new face emerged in Brendon White. This kid is from down the road from Olentangy Liberty. He is also the son of former OSU and NFL player William White. This kid is a legacy recruit who gets what it means to play at The Ohio State University. All he did in his first game with any real playing time is have 13 tackles and 8 solos. That's huge because I feel like our defense in the back has been lacking a good tackler to go with Fuller. If he isn't starting next week the coaches had better have someone better in mind. Add Fuller back in with him and I think we may be turning the corner in our defensive backfield especially getting CB Arnette back as well.
The other positive i took was both Dobbins and Webber having 163 and 91 yard games. Granted it was against Nebraska but gaining confidence as a RB I think is huge. Great for the morale of your offensive line as well to see backs bust off 15-20 yard runs. If this means our running game may be coming back into play, it will only help the passing game as teams will have to account for stopping our running backs and thus creating opportunities for downfield passes. Haskins is a first year starter, and this is his first subpar game. It came after a layoff and I'll give the rookie a pass and see how he bounces back.
I think Nebraska is a better team than people know and were coming into Columbus on a 2 game winning streak after going 0-6 out of the gate. I think they'll win a few more games this year too.
Lets' see if having White playimg with Fuller next week at MSU isn't finally a combo of good safeties that help eliminate those big plays. Not sure if Fuller has to sit the first half or not. Either way,,OSU is 8-1 and has everything right in front of them from a motivation standpoint.

Fuller won’t have to sit first half, that would’ve only been if he had been ejected in second half of yesterday’s game. I just worry that the coaches won’t play White or even start him. I remember when he first came in yesterday I couldn’t see his name on his jersey right away but was asking people around me “who’s that new guy flying around?”.
