Market St. $2.18 Tiffin - Circle K on Melmore St. $2.17 Tiffin seems to get lower gas prices from "general" area Tiffin has consistently been one of the lowest gas price locations in the state of Ohio all summer long. There has been many times when gas prices were .40 cheaper than Findlay, Fostoria and Fremont. Not sure why they are in this economic pocket for so long, it almost has to be tied to distribution somehow.

And Norwalk on the otherhand is consistently higher than others in the area. It's usually cheaper for me to fill up in Sandusky rather than Norwalk. Bellevue also is usually cheaper at the station across from the market.

Galion has been consistently lower in this general area. $2.279 here while $2.399 in Mansfield and $2.499 in Bellville where 97 and 71 meet.

I'm hitting the road for Winchester, Va. tomorrow morning and then to Florida a few days later. Like the timing coinciding with low gas prices.

I'm hitting the road for Winchester, Va. tomorrow morning and then to Florida a few days later. Like the timing coinciding with low gas prices. Have a safe trip. My husband and daughter did a trip in the opposite direction to Northern Michigan a week ago. 9 hours there and another 9 back, and gas prices were not too bad.

Thank you my dear! Visiting our daughter near Winchester and then taking that scenic trip down the Shenandoah Highway and heading south to our Florida home.

Saw $1.78 in Lima today. Not sure how much lower it will get with OPEC cutting production.

Saw $1.78 in Lima today. Not sure how much lower it will get with OPEC cutting production. If you recall, Trump called the Saudi's and got them to agree to increase production several weeks ago, in response to OPEC agreeing to cut production. That is one of the prime reasons we are enjoying present low pricing. OPEC doesn't have the power and influence they once enjoyed.

That is one of the prime reasons we are enjoying present low pricing. OPEC doesn't have the power and influence they once enjoyed. The United States is now the world's leading producer in crude oil. We hold a lot of leverage when it comes to oil prices now, and it's likely that the margin will get even more lob sided in the future. www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.php?id=37053However, in the short term, prices will likely go back in the spring. An abundance of oil hurts the economies of Saudi Arabia, the UAE and other countries disproportiantly and they will cut supply to help themselves out.

There was an article in the Findlay paper predicting 3$ a gallon by Memorial day with prices dropping for the rest of 2019.
