Is it true that Willard will be moving up? On Arbiter website it has them playing oak harbor, Huron, Edison, PC, and Vermillion. Also has Non conference as South Central, PLymouth, Seneca East, South East and Lucas... Schedule gets alot tougher
It is also showing for Danbury that Vanlue and Hopewell Loudon are league games? Is that true?
Other thoughts on the SBC in 2019?

I would be curious to know what Tiffin has coming back; was it one hit wonder or is Tiffin Football back to what we're accustomed?

It is also showing for Danbury that Vanlue and Hopewell Loudon are league games? Hopewell-Loudon is a league game. They are joining the SBC River Division next year and will be 20th overall football team, in a 6-6-8 format. That is why Willard football is moving up to the Bay (joining all their other sports.) Vanlue is not a conference game, and according to Arbiterlive they are Danbury's week 1 opponent in 2019, but will be replaced with Toledo Christian for week 1 in 2020 and 2021.

They only return 2 offensive lineman. I dont see this being a 1 hit wonder. Looking at their lower levels this seems to be something that's going to last. The upcoming lineman need a big offseason for TC

Lake division will be loaded next year. Bellevue, Sandusky, Norwalk, Tiffin, perkins, and clyde all have quite a bit returning. should make for a very interesting year. Would not surprise me to see another final 4 team out of this division.

Were Mittower and Lambert two of them? Those are big boys Sandusky returns about 70%, they lose their db's and most receivers, but return 3 of 5 lineman on both sides of the ball. Yes MIttower and Lambert are juniors.

Sandusky also had a couple freshmen that started for them along the defensive line. The Scott kid will be their biggest loss along the line, he started both ways.

Lake division will be loaded next year. Bellevue, Sandusky, Norwalk, Tiffin, perkins, and clyde all have quite a bit returning. should make for a very interesting year. Would not surprise me to see another final 4 team out of this division. I think you’re right about the final 4, but I wouldn’t count Perkins as one of those that has quite a bit returning. They lost A lot with graduation, mainly their most capable running back J’ Andre Jackson. Special-teams will also be something to keep an eye on as they lost their only field-goal kicker on the roster Lucas Salmon. The 2020 senior class will have at least 4 players, and that number will probably be around 8 or 9. Wherever it falls it’s down from last year‘s numbers of 13, and way down from the 35 which is what they had their freshman year. Most notable of those not returning is WR Da’Quise Clinton. That leaves only one WR on the roster in grades 12-11. On the bright side, this class is returning 3 very capable lineman in McNulty, Bechtel, and Schenk. The juniors next year will have a small class again with only about 6-8 kids. Most notable in this class is WR turned QB Chris Campbell, he is the best offensive weapon they will have for the next 2 years. Don’t know much about next year sophomore‘s other than they are around 20 of them, and 2 of them lettered. It is also worth noting that the 2020 seniors were a little over 20 strong their sophomore year as well. Don’t look for all of them to stick around and I predict that number will be under 10 by the time they’re seniors. If memory serves me correctly a freshman has not earned a varsity letter at Perkins since around 1997 or 1998 when Brandon Schnittker did it, he went on the play for Ohio State University. I’m not knocking the kids, but I think they lettered because lower numbers demanded their participation of Friday nights. I know nothing of next years incoming freshman as of right now. Perkins had 57 kids out in 2018 in grades 9-12, I see them with about 45 in grades 9-12 next year. Perkins will not have one RB over 180 pounds next year, so pounding the ball up the middle every play is not an option. Campbell up the middle every play is going to get your best player hurt, but I am not holding my breath that Perkins coaching staff will change their ways. In 2019, 1-9 at best, Vermillion is the only team I see them beating next year.

Good things coming in Flier land. Freshmen team was undefeated and JV only lost 1 game. I know Ryan is excited about the potential.

The kid is one of the best I've seen. He has to be a high recruit I would think! Anyone looking at him?

Not positive but I’m sure once this early signing period is over and schools will start turning their attention more towards the 2020 class that’s when people will hear more recruiting news with him and other juniors. Going into this season he was a relatively unknown, he had a very good season last year but nothing like this year and garnering all-Ohio as well but when you put up numbers like he did schools will start to inquire more.

Norwalk Only loses 6 seniors who were Major contributors, everyone else is back, and will heave nice depth in the soph class having good athlete's , not easy to replace those 6 but I think coach FOX and staff will have it figured out. although next years team will be heavy with seniors who have played a lot. the past 2 seasons, so the experience will be there and Chapin will have a year of experience as QB, should be another fun year for Norwalk.

I watched TC vs. Lexington . What struck me the most was how physical TC looked. I have a feeling that they must have a lot of emphasis placed on off-season weight training and that their attendance must have been good.

Has Huron found a week one opponent? On the OHSAA website they are still listed and no opponent is listed for week one.
The others school available that week are: Columbus St. Francis, Bishop Hartley, Cleveland East Tech, Cleveland JFK, Lima Central Catholic, Alexander Albany, Louisville St. Thomas Aquinas, Arcanum, Eastmoor Academy, Grove City Christian and Marion-Franklin
Which would be the best option?

Let's hear from the Flier faithful; whatcha got? I've heard good things as well. I knew this last year would be a down year, and for the most part it certainly was. It turned out to be a bit more exciting than I thought, but the struggle was real this year and there were some streaks of brilliance. Overall it was a very young team after a huge group of seniors left, so I expect a more solid year next year.

I Know both Clyde and Norwalk have talented Frosh Class. I believe Sandusky had a player or two this past season getting significant time as Frosh on Varsity as well.

What is funny, year in and year out, anyone in the league could be predicted as being down or having a down year, and could end up winning the division. I think there isn't going to a dominate team that goes 5-0 in the near future. With the exception of Perkins, any of the other five teams can win the league. As was the case this year. Down year for Clyde? Depends on your point of view. Would of been a down year if Clyde was in the old SBC playing SMCC, Margaretta, Edison, et al. For a down year, being Lake Co-Champs and beating a final four team, I'll take that.

Yep, that's the beauty of having a very competitive division; there's going to be a sense of unpredictability more times than not. Also, if Clyde thought it was down year, I would imagine Sandusky thought the same for themselves, and they played cfor a Regional Title.

I would think Bellevue should be at the top next year fighting for SBC champs. Only truly loosing maybe three or four contributors from this season. Should be fun to watch the next couple years!!!!
