At Bucyrus 615pm - Vermilion(17-5) vs Shelby (12-11) 8pm - Clear Fork(19-4) vs Mansfield Senior (18-4) At Willard 615pm - Norwalk(20-3) vs Perkins(13-10) 8pm - Ontario(15-8) vs Lexington (18-5) I don't see any running clock here. Norwalk is 5-0 vs the teams left could be why they are the 1 seed... Norwalk should play Mansfield Senior during the regular season, instead of South Central.

Ethan is a friend and has been going in practice for a month but rests when he has pain. He has had a stress fracture for a long time but when it gives him pain he rests. His mom was waiting for him to be pain free. ALL Orthopedic physicians will tell you that "stress fractures" MUST be allowed an extended period of inactivity to heal correctly. Having a day of pain or no pain within the period of prescribed inactivity after the injury is absolutely NO indication of whether one can play a physical sport or not play. If further physical activity continues after a "stress fracture" the fracture can become a larger fracture, that could result in surgery. Ok, but Ethan can tell you he had a stress fracture and he stopped playing when it started to hurt to bad. He was held out by the trainer but has been going in practice for a month.

We completely understand he had a "stress fracture". You are not telling us anything new. After it "started to hurt bad" he should have seen an Orthopedic Specialist. A trainer is like a girl scout in comparison. In such a matter only a Doctor should make ALL decisions on how long to completely stop practicing and playing and when to start again. It sounds like he didn't completely stop for a long enough period of time, or he wouldn't have on and off pain.

At least Pleasant has had State Final teams, South Central not. Which is immaterial. Pleasant should play South Central and Norwalk should play Senior. Who didn't want to play who, so that could not be worked out?

Two Sectional Titles for Senior, their first 2 years not in DI. With Sykes at the helm I can't imagine them not winning at least a Sectional Title every year in DII.

A slug fest between 2 of the best defensive coached teams in the area. After only scoring 3 in the first quarter Ontario battled back to win by 4. Balanced scoring for Ontario, 10, 9, 9, 8 and 7. Stover fouled out with around 1 minute left in the game. 17th Sectional Title for Balogh. With the 16th win, this team guarantees themselves an "average" season by Balogh standards. After starting the season 6-7 they've won 10 of their next 11 games, the only loss was to Mansfield Senior by 3. With all the injuries and issues, I never saw this coming. Easily the best coaching job by Joe and give what players he has a LOT of the credit for working VERY hard to turn their season around. I caught Sykes interview after the CF/Senior game. He said Ontario beating Lex didn't surprise him. He felt any of the Top 10 seeds could win or loss. Perkins over Clyde, Shelby over Sandusky, Ontario over Lex. Shelby giving Vermillion and CF giving Senior all they wanted.

The Ontario win over Lex is an upset other than that 3 of the top 4 seeds remain. Only a minor one in Sandusky over Shelby. Can Ontario finally win a D2 District that would be a big deal Joe is 0 for how many...

At Bucyrus to advance to district at Madison 615pm - Vermilion vs Shelby 8pm - Clear Fork vs Mansfield Senior At Willard to advance to district at Madison 615pm - Norwalk vs Perkins Twp. 8pm - Ontario vs Lexington Best time of the year!! There probably should be split sessions for these games but.... Mansfield game will not be close. If they can be up by 15 or more at half we could see a running clock before it's over. I know CF still lost... but this didn’t age well. Clearly underestimated the ability and caliber of team CF had

Refs were terrible . Too many anticipation calls. Lex and Ontario both played like they had a 30 second shot clock . Not impressed with either
