Mansfield 61, Lex 51, THAT's the reason Lex went to Norwalk. Your a piece of work... lex chose Williard before sr high CHOSE Bucyrus It's apparent the guy is a genius. Norwalk and Lexington went away from Mansfield and Vermilion went at the tygers.

This district has lost some luster since the seeding meeting. Norwalk the one seed lost to D3 Cardinal Stritch. Lexington the 2 lost to Mansfield by double digits. Vermilion loses to a .500 D3 foe in Huron... Gives the lower seeds in the District hope

Okay so I’m sure we’ll find out as the tournament progresses and they meet the OGs etc... as the titans were bounced by Lex at home a night after the lost to Norwalk at home... Lets not jump to conclusions based on a game on a Tues night after the one of the biggest weekends of year for the Truckers...

if Cardinal Stritch were in the Madison district they would be the best team Doing some early Saturday drinking? For this to be remotely true they would have to drop 12 to 15 of the D4 or D3 caliber games they currently play.

It's apparent that some people don't know how the seeding works. #1 and #2 can place or pass. Norwalk and Lex obviously placed. #3 Vermilion took the bye and #4 Senior placed themselves at Bucyrus. Look where 5-11 placed themselves. That's the real story. Good or bad, this district will have some exciting games!! It is VERY apparent that some do not know how the seeding works, since no team is permitted to Pass.

So let’s switch this up what about their body of work tells you they could roll through the district they have played a handful of really competitive games and beat Norwalk what else??

In my humble opinion, it's as simple as location and familiarity with opponent. Nothing more nothing less.

Your a piece of work... lex chose Williard before sr high CHOSE Bucyrus It's apparent the guy is a genius. Norwalk and Lexington went away from Mansfield and Vermilion went at the tygers. The "genius" of what happened after #1 Norwalk placed themselves in the Willard Sectional IS. After that #2 Lex also went to the Willard Sectional. Knowing since they did that Senior would go to Bucyrus. Thus Lex knew they wouldn't have to play Senior until the District Finals. IF Lex had chosen to go to Bucyrus, the possibility existed that Senior could also have chosen to go to Bucyrus. Thus Lex would have had to play Senior before the District Finals. Lex chose to play Norwalk before the District Finals.

Norwalk rolls former NOL foe Shelby 57-44 Shelby has been rolled by most of the MOAC schools so having the top team in the SBC Lake doesn't surprise.

Ontario was up on Shelby by 22 from the middle of the 3rd to the middle of the 4th when both benches were cleared and Shelby's bench pressed and cut the lead to 14. Shelby was held to 31, their lowest output of the season. They're a mystery.

Actually, this game was relatively close until Haraway's dunk with 5 minutes left in the game. I don't know if pregame ceremonies and/or hangover from Sandusky the night before had anything to do, but not sharp for much of the game.

Not really. It is very common to see a single action motivate a team or break the spirits of another. Happens all the time.

I get it however it was just that he stated it was close until, rather than it turned the momentum or Norwalk took over with 5 minutes left etc... I was just ribbing him a bit that 2 points is just two points that's all...

Wasn't Norwalk already up by 8 or 9 points before this happened? It sounded like the game was already in hand before the highlight happened.

To be honest, I don't remember exactly the score when it happened; I do know Norwalk was up 9 to start 4th, but Shelby cut into lead a little. The dunk fired up the D, and Shelby seemed rattled to the point I felt Norwalk had the game in the bag.

That game changed when Coach Gray called a timeout early in the 3rd quarter and had a very animated discussion with his team.

I was not there but I seems remember reading(news, tweet, blog) that said Norwalk was up 8 or 9 at the time of the dunk and it sparked a few more buckets before Shelby scored.

Final AP Poll in Div II has Norwalk 14th. Lose to a D3 and drop three spots. For the dozen or so Norwalk fans that made a big stink on the Willard thread about Willard's schedule
Norwalk plays 19 schools smaller than them, is 18-3 and just last week got hammered, ranked in d2 Willard plays 6 schools smaller than them, is 17-3 and on a 12 game winning streak, unranked in d3 cool, I guess the local Norwalk reporter has a vote in the AP poll?
Oh, and the whole District jumped to be on Norwalk's side of the bracket to avoid Mansfield Sr (why wasn't Senior ranked?) Maybe Senior should have played 19 schools smaller than them like Norwalk. Oh that's right, Senior didn't make a schedule to get ranked #14 in D2, Senior made a schedule to take the District Championship Trophy home. Norwalk better win the District or.....eek.... 19 schools smaller than them on the schedule...OUCH....raging on Willard's schedule when they forgot to look at their own.... eek....Hopefully that overtime win vs South Central pays off for Norwalk in March....Yikes...Since Norwalk fans love to talk about others schedules

So you are saying Willard dropped long time opponents to pick up teams to take the District Championship home. It's a shame you feel Willard must win the District.
