Average Star Ranking is a more accurate rating. Eliminates the advantage of signing a large number of recruits. Quality over quantity
#1 Alabama 94.31 #2 Georgia 93.25 #3 Ohio State 92.32 #4 Texas 91.84 #5 Penn State 91.51 #6 Auburn 91.34 #7 Oklahoma 91.20 #11 Michigan 90.83 #12 Notre Dame 90.53 #14 Clemson 90.18 Nebraska 88.77 Michigan State 87.49

Buckeyes endure a big de-commit, when Doug Nester opps for VT. "Ohio State is always the best of the best and they continue to get great talent and great guys, but it's a big city and I don't know if I would fit in well there," Nester said. "Penn State is a great place - a small kind of town that is a city built around its campus. The town life is great and the guys are great, but it's a little too far. I feel like Virginia Tech is that happy medium. It's three hours away and only an hour away from my sisters."

The Buckeyes lessened the blow of losing Nester with signing of 4* Ennok Vimahi out of Hawaii.
