Edison has six going to state. Alec Homan 9th 49-9 at 106, Casey Barnett 10th 57-1 at 113, Ray Adams 12th 54-6 at 120, Jordan Keegan 12th 53-8 at 138, Shadrick Slone 9th 56-8 at 145, and Jacob Daniel Brewer 11th 39-3 at 195. Four of these guys return next year along side state alternate (5th district) Jakey Neer 11th 39-16 at 126 and Logan Lloyd 9th 37-26 at 160 who placed 6th at district. Plus a couple more district qualifiers in jr. Soviak and freshman Jacob Thompson. A really exciting time right now for Edison wrestling. Cant wait to follow up with next years freshmen at junior high state in a couple weeks.

Wrestlers tend to go where the wrestling is, and I've never met a parent who doesn't want their wrestler child to be in a better situation. It's the same reason we came into Ohio biddy for years to wrestle and go to Jordan camp as he was growing up....trying to give your kids every advantage.

Kids tranfer into Edison, is that recruiting or transferring in? Every High school has transfers for one reason or another, does that equate recruiting or students taking advantage of a better situation? How many wrestling programs have the same advantages as Edison in the area? If any school in the area would offer the same benifits as Edison then they too would get transfers. Its simple but most schools do not care enough for wrestling to put forth the effort. They offer wrestling but do not have a "program" in my opinion!

Who are "they"? My point is there was no "they". Choices are made by students and their parents.
