Once can be called a mistake, if you get caught twice for marijuana it's more than a mistake. Mistake or whatever we wanna call it. Its just ridiculous that someone would go out their way to find and post the police report on this site. I would not argue with that.

For many, the high school years are time of experimentation, with alcohol, marijuana, and cigarettes. I'm a successful adult who has smoked marijuana on/off for the last 50 years. I don't condone the behavior of the high school kids, but not trying to punish or define them either. Why are we on a sports forum discussing this kids bad choices? He's 18 year olds. He doesn't have to have everything figured out. I'm sure he is going to suffer the consequences of his actions through the courts and parents. 18 makes you an adult. Any crime committed at 18 gets you tried as an adult. Judges can decided if under 18 to still try as an adult. Heck some want to allow 16 year olds to be adults, by allowing them to vote

I read the report. Looked like it was filed at 4:30 am, but the kid was actually pulled over at like 11:30 pm or so if I read it correctly. Chit happens to teenagers. They make good choices and they make bad choices. The important thing is to learn from the bad ones. He'll bounce back and be fine.

I think that is right, 11:30 was the time of the report. To me this does give the ego that he can select which rules he has to follow. I cannot forget this is his second time being busted for something he agreed not to do during his career as a high school athlete.

ONE time is a mistake, more than one time is a pattern or recidivism.
Making the same mistake and and expecting different results is insanity. Incorrectly attributed to Einstein, most likely used in cases of narcotics use.

Incorrectly attributed to Einstein, most likely used in cases of narcotics use. OK let's put everyone kids faults on this site so we can all psychoanalyze them also. Or is Brandon the only one out here messing up? I can put some stories on here about some high school kids that I know . But guess what,It's none of my Damn business. And for you to refer to him as a criminal is ridiculous. I know exactly what group of parents that put this on here. The same group of parents that went to the principal in middle school and said Brandon and his friends had a gang "cause they have sleep overs and didn't invite my son " her exact words. Screaming from the sidelines of the football game this year that Brandon is clearly dominating "you know you have other recievers". So can we please stop feeding into these people hate of a superior athlete, that they clearly don't recognize all these achievements are from hard work and dedication to the sport. So this will be my last post,so you can comment all you want. I always told my kids, success Isn't easy but damn sure worth it. Brandon will pay the misdemeanor fine and then he'll be flying to Italy next month to represent His country. And this will be all behind him..So I wanna thank the ones that support my family and I also wanna also thank the ones that don't!

The Police report was in the paper ONLY because it involved an adult, not a "kid". THAT is what made it a PUBLIC matter, not this board. You're being untruthful, only in YOUR mind is there thought of a "criminal". You won't find that word on here other than in YOUR post. Being a "superior athlete" brings with it more responsibilities. One of which is being an example for young kids to follow. My coaches drilled that into our heads over and over, as I'm sure coach Gray did. If reading this keeps ONE "kid" from making the same mistake that an adult made, is it not worthwhile? Not all of my friends were angles, but none were caught once let alone twice. Thus, there's an element intelligence or bad luck involved. Which?

And if you're paying attention the actual police report isn't in the paper and it was found on police website and posted on a sports blog. How many other police reports are on this site? And saying Im untruthful about you calling him a criminal . RECIDIVISM:the tendency of a convicted criminal to reoffend."the prison has succeeded in reducing recidivism"... Unless there a different definition looks like you're being untruthful! And I'm not even gonna address the ridiculous rest of your statement. And it just hit me that you WILLARD were the BIGGEST hater from 2011-14 on Norwalk's History Making Run ! So I'm signing off ,good day Sir!

One can call his child any noun they choose, regardless of their age. Under the law, if arrested for committing a crime and below the age of 18, the arrest and procedures are sealed. If 18 or over, the individual is treated as an adult, under the law. Records are part of the public domain.
Many have short and poor memories. I save my hate for the likes of Osama bin Laden and Sadam Hussein. Suggesting anyone "Hates" a school, sports team or athlete is asinine.
Per Merrian-Webster - recidivism = A tendency to relapse into a previous condition or made of behavior.
