So it's just now breaking that the Browns have traded for Odell Beckham Jr
Giants get the Browns 1st round pick, the 2nd of the Browns two 3rd round picks, and Jabrill Peppers

A mid 1st round pick, the lower of the 3rd round picks and a mediocre safety for a top 5 WR? Done.

Before/after 2nd preseason game Beckham tweaks his knee and is done indefinitely.

Beckham & Watkins at wide out Chubb & Hunt in the backfield Hunt is actually a great receiver and Mayfield at QB If we can just get Njoku more consistent caching the ball and beef up the line a bit. future looks bright.

John Dorsey was the best acquisition

Browns also sign former Chiefs free agent tight end Demetrious Harris (6-7, 230). Formerly signed by Dorsey in Kansas City back 2013, Harris will make up for the loss of Darren Fells, who was released last week. Another big target for Baker.
Earl Thomas reports still seem scattered and unsubstantiated, but could he be next to head to the lake?

Yesterday when the Beckham news leaked out, I heard 2 NY sports journalist saying such things as: Beckham will do something to stop the deal. Beckham will demand to have his new 5 year contract, biggest in NFL history for a WR, renegotiated before going to Cleveland. Beckham won't want to play for Cleveland.
That could not be further from the truth. As soon as he heard about the trade he got on a plane and flew to Cleveland. He had nothing but great things to say about what is being done in Cleveland to build a team and nothing but nice things to say about the Giants for giving him the opportunity to play for the Browns.

I think you mean Landry, not Watkins Your right, I was talking to someone just before posting this about how good Kansas city is with Hill, Watkins, and Kelce. Must have just put down Watkins after that. KC was one of the heavy favorites in the AFC but I think Cleveland has a much better defense and now with that much talent on offense I could see them knocking off KC coached under Reid (known to choke in the playoffs)

Looks like KC is missing Dorsey big time. Loosing Ford and Houston the only pass rushers on an already weak defense. What are they doing ? Your right I think the Browns D will be much better.
TE Harris was a solid pick up from them as well

KC is in decline without Dorsey NE is in decline with Brady in his 40’s Pits is in decline lost too much and Ben is also getting old
Next few years look like a big incline for CLE Long as we keep Mayfield healthy
CLE should have a real shot getting to the big game next few years

I think potentially the most satisfying thing to me is that there is a decent chance that the rise of the Browns ends the careers of both Brady and Big Ben

Just announced that Kareem Hunt will officially miss the first eight games of the upcoming season for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy. I thought he might get more than this.
