your right about him being sorely missed. I think a heck of a lot about the kid And wish him the best at ashland. I really do.w e shouldn't lose one league game next year. There's 12 wins so saying we'll only win 12 -13 games is an understatement at best.we don't have to replace Devon but the kid your talking about definitely needs to get stronger. If the talks of change are correct, Willard will only have 10 division league games next year. Vermilion is moving to the Lake. correction has been made so 10 wins in league play. I will get the farm we'll win more than 2 or 3 non league games if we still play bucyrus, tiffin,st Paul,Hopewell, buckeye central,Wynford,Carey,etc..

From what I've seen he's a very nice player. I don't know if his granddad has any influence on where he might or might not play next year but if granddad does Willard won't be in the cards. That much I pretty much know. Now if granddad has zero say well then good luck.

For his size he is one heck of a ball handler and can pull up from the elbow and can't be stopped, even has a good 3 point shot. If someone would get serious with this kid and his development and conditioning the sky is the limit. You will see D1 coaches from all over coming to Willard looking at him if he would add 30-40 lbs of muscle over the next 6 months and hit the weight room. If I were his parents I would hire a personal trainer for him because he has that kind of potential. They will struggle with their 5th player next year. I don't ever like to give spots to players before next season because you never know who will work their tail off in the off season to be the 4th and 5th starters next year. We can assume TB, CP and MP are 1-3. They need two more outside threats and right now, that is up in the air. They will compete with teams in this area and in our league but if we want to make a push we have the talent in the pipeline to do it, just need to be more physical, stronger and deeper on the bench. [b. Great feedback. I don't believe in handing over spots either but its pretty clear who's going to be filling them.I can speak up about the Paxton boy and say it's not going to be just handed to him that he WILL work his tail off to be the best he can be. Not sold on anyone past the top 3 yet. Lot of kids will mature a little more over the summer and the starting 5 will shake out. He is a better ball handler and passer than a shooter. Their defense has to get better. Losing triplet and the polachek kid isn't going to be easy to replace their defense, or offense.

Why would he come to willard and be the 2nd or 3rd best player and average 16-18. Isn't going to happen.

I'll be on here telling you "told you so" next year. Doubt it. 25+ a game is Langhurst/Diebler/dials type numbers and I doubt he’s at that level. When was the last time someone in the area even averaged that much?

Ha I hope not winning and going to regionals is fun. Recruit em all it works for catholic schools and super publics. I've already started working the Pugh kid in AAU this past weekend. I tried last year as well. He would fit in very very nicely. Was Coop and Devon on your AAU team last year?

Nope, I have a 9th grade team. We played several times last year against your 9th graders team out of Mansfield.....would have been 8th last year.

Yes, he'll be an 11th grader and most 11th graders haven't started their 2019 AAU season yet. However, their is a "little" Pugh who's in the 7th grade I believe. Little Pugh has started his AAU season and they travel toget6as a family. Nonetheless, YES, I was pulling your leg.

Skeeter Baldridge is the player we've mentioned who could use 30-40lbs. 30-40 at his age with his body type is a lot to ask, 15-20lbs of muscle would be an accomplishment.
