No need to worry guys, my dad will look into this matter and make sure Willard football is the best it has ever been! And if you don’t like it, you can leave this country!
Your dad is a racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic, islamophobic, transphobic, anti-Semite, Jew loving, jerk. Let's take a look at what he tweeted out that the media correctly (they didn't fake news this) called racist.
^^^ That's vile. Your Dad should be Impeached. I underlined and put in bold the only 2 words the media quoted from his rant. He said a lot of words but only those two words were quoted and they are vile. "Go back" That's racist. It's a shame he colluded with Russia to beat me in 2016. It's a shame he has white guys beating up Jessie Smollett in the dead of winter at 2 am in Chicago and shouting 'this is MAGA country' to him. It's a shame he tricked those Covington kids to be so disrespectful to that Native American. Those kids should rot in jail for what they did, just like Trump.
I'm just hoping Ilhan Omar who is from Somalia (what a wonderful country) doesn't get in trouble for marrying her brother to commit immigration fraud. That's totally normal, only Trump would find fault in a brother and sister marrying, it looks like he is incestphobic too. Trump's vile.
Hola Hillary, my dad is the best thing to happen to this country and he will be the best thing to happen to Willard football. MWFGA (make Willard football great again for those of you who don’t get the letters).

Which Coach are you referring to that "a few businessmen in town have a lot of input on". I personally have had input on only two coaches at Willard,,,Coach Noss and now Coach Kade Long. And what does that have to do with Coach Fox or the problems with lack of numbers? Of course you will say that you had input on Noss and now Long. You would never admit to making any bad decisions. The last two coaches in football before this coach did nothing to build the program, that is what it has to do with lack of numbers. You have all the answers, please enlighten us. I didn’t say anything about Fox.

crimsonblooded,,what is causing it in your opinion? How can we fix it? I hear second hand, all I know is they were playing Lakota 7on7 and getting beat by their "freshmen" and what I was told is they were told how bad they were or something to that effect and had to do "burpees" last 7 minutes instead of finish the game. This is pretty much second hand info coming from me. So idk if it's because their that bad or a 23 year old coach may have not handled the situation in the best way. If i could get rid of administration and board members and start over that would be my solution.

It isn’t hate, it is disgust. when people do nothing but blame kids and and parents yet they have failing grades and now less than 20 kids on a football team with a $500,000 field, damn right people are ******. if you have any influence like you say you do i would get this admin in a room and ask them what the hell they are doing to fix this? if this football program gets cancelled this year for lack of numbers, someone’s head should roll.

Regarding the Coach Fox deal I assure you I'm not near in the loop as most on here. I'm also not from the moon or Neptune. I do know that legal counsel strongly advised the board from going down that road. Ironically the Superintendent that was involved in his Norwalk hire knew he had a great coach from his Willard time and he also knew he wouldn't be under any legal scrutiny by hiring him in Norwalk. Willard's hands were tied unfortunately.

Coach Fox? We'll keep him. I have never seen a HS coach get the kids to buy-into his way of doing things that fast. I like Macfarland and I missed him (up until about 7:02pm August 24, 2018).

crimsonblooded, Once again I don't claim to be in the know like many on here but I can think a little. I think people were upset he wasn't rehired as a coach. I'm also thinking that the one board member had inside family knowledge that there would be a lawsuit if he was rehired as a coach. This is also why legal council strongly advised against hiring him as a coach. I don't know the politics of the school but I don't know if they can fire a teacher without warrant. I'm think after reading the letter from the state he was on thin ice but I don't know if it was a fireable offense. I don't know. That would be a question for someone who doesn't think.

Oh yeah, many lawsuits hanging over their heads for decades. All decisions in Willard are based off possible lawsuits considered by the legal team that assemble at every board meeting. Willard doesn't hire controversial coaches.

Funny to me how high Norwalk is on coach Fox. Lot's of "told you's " in posts lol...During the process, Norwalkians were not thrilled of the idea of two D7 candidates being at the top of the list ( Mahaney, former Mapleton and current Shelby HC being the other). Now that they are winning, the 18 wheeler bandwagon tires are riding low. Darn funny for us weekly readers. All football teams run the same plays and defenses. So it doesn't matter if you win in d7 or d1. It's all about how that coach can win over his players. Coach Fox does that extremely well, and always has. Really hope Norwalk brings a state title to Huron county !

Here's a hypothetical Put Fox at Willard--what changes? An extra 7-8 boys who play this year? One thing that won't,,and something he didn't ever have to deal with is the geo political student body make up. 27% is the figure I was quoted on Thursday night.
My personal take is our student body has not produced enough boys who want to play football. The hispanic boys want to play soccer. That's their sport of choice in the Fall. We simply are short on numbers in the fall for football at present.

This year, like the past couple years, I think they'll be numerous Freshman seeing ample JV time. Grades 10 thru 12 have approx 14 boys playing, however, I think grades 7 thru 9 have much better numbers.

We shipped Hawkins before he wanted to go, Fox was making us into a wrestling school so we shipped him out before he wanted to go. Willard is going to be a Soccer town and we are still working on convincing the townsfolk of this fact. Once the townsfolk get on board then all available resources can be poured into the Soccer program making it the premier team in the State of Ohio. Kids from surrounding towns will be flooding into Willard High for the chance to play Varsity soccer at the legendary Willard Soccer Field located where the former Willard football team used to play. Home Soccer games will be played Friday Nights under the lights and we anticipate huge crowds by 2030 so the stands will have to be enlarged. We plan on having such an outstanding Soccer Program that 100-150 scouts from around the World will be at the games salivating at all the talent on the squad. This is a warning to Joe B, know your role or we will ship you out like Hawkins and Fox, this is a Soccer town.
Willard Soccer is going to be fantastic

The school is not big enough to support this many programs in the fall and as a board you have to realize the damage you may cause by introducing another sport in the fall that will pull from the current programs. Terrible decision here. Football and Soccer cannot coexist for many more years.

I read in the Norwalk Relector that Willard has a grand total of 2 seniors on this years roster. I hate to be a downer but that's not good. Is it even legal to field a team with only 2 seniors? You need 11 on a field.
