Norwalk is ranked 9th in the preseason state rankings for D3. According to Yappi voters. I think CalPreps has Truckers #6, and a writer from cleveland.com #3.

For my 2 cents, this is the most interesting matchup of the week. Norwalk should be the favorite, but with so much talent on the Tyger team, an upset isn’t so far fetched.

Half time and Norwalk is lucky to even be in this game. Mansfield twice was deep in Norwalk territory and failed to score. 14-10 halftime

Failure is the fault of the one doing the "failing". All coaches will tell you that.

I know Mansfield has some talent but sounds like some press clipping reading this summer coupled with some undisciplined football for the Trucks tonight.

No it was pure domination by Mansfield. Really Mansfield should have won 35-3. Like I said before Norwalk is nothing without their Wr and Rb.

Surprised to see such little offensive production out of a Fox team

I don’t see how the one guy said Mansfield dominated??? Norwalk had 20 penalty’s called against them compaired to 3 for Mansfield. Norwalk D shut them down after 1 qt with a total of 154 yards. 2 TD called back against Norwalk and a huge call from refs on the punt that would of gave the ball to Norwalk on Mansfield 11 yard line . I really think Norwalk dominated Mansfield and mental breakdowns and some home cooking against Norwalk. My eyes final should of been 24-21 Norwalk as I can see them meeting again in playoffs with a different outcome if not at Arlan.

The only units that were consistently good last night were the defenses. Norwalk's offense was sloppy the entire game and the penalties killed us. They need to tighten it up and they will be fine. How many big gains were walked back because of penalties? Mansfield's offense was not much better. No domination there, just cleaner play. Mansfield was the better team last night. I'm not worried.

How many will be surprised if Huron beats Norwalk this week? I will not be one. I see them winning 5-6 games.

If we play that poorly again, I can see a loss. If they tighten up, I can see a running clock.

Norwalk moved the ball between the 25s but penalties (many obvious) was their bane. On the TD run called back, Stevie Wonder saw the WR grab the DB. On the punts, the same call was made. You cannot block the opponent into the ball. Norwalk got the same call on previous punt. Leroux is a man! QB is a talent, but really impressed with Alec Maloney. Heat seeking missle!

Sometimes, a well-coached team coming off a Final Four season and with 16 starters retuning (whole OLine) is going to have a doozy. The staff will do anything to clean up.
