The cost for those two will easily be outweighed by a D1 scholarship (food for thought!)

You think you can put 20 pounds of GOOD weight on that kids frame in two and a half months? Aside from being an absurd time frame its more likely to be detrimental to his game than help. When you bulk someone up that fast that much it affects everything about their performance until they adjust and sometimes they don’t adjust. College coaches are looking at potential and don’t pay a ton of heed to a players weight in high school. They know they can lock them in their weight room with a trainer and a great nutrition staff and build them up to their liking.

It isn't about what you think can be done it is about setting your mind to it and doing it. As I stated, if he had a proper nutritionist and trainer this is possible. Leaving it up to the kid to know what to do and when to do it on their own, ain't gonna happen. Very aware of what college coaches are looking for but they are also looking for someone that can step in and make a difference quick. It doesn't really make a difference to me whether or not if he puts on any weight or muscle, just stated if he did that he would be having DI schools looking at him instead of DII. Imagine a kid like that showing up at a regional game and not being pushed around, now that would get some college looks.

Have to admit i'm about as excited about our hoops team as I've been in awhile. Could be a special year. I think it will once again come down to Willard VS Upper in the District Final unless someone comes out of nowhere. Nice to be relevant again when talking about a Regional Team.

My guess is Margaretta along with Western Reserve will be there as well. Seeded accordingly: 1 Willard 2 CC 3 Margaretta 4 WR

If memory serves me correct, CC started 4 underclassmen last year. Top two scorers were juniors.
Margaretta and WR also return quite a bit. March is a loooong way off.

March is a loooong way off. we are returning 3 starters and the other 2 spots are going to be filled by kids that saw varsity minutes.we should be favored to win in every game.never know what your going to get with 15 -17 year old kids but I like our chances to get back to bowling Green.the one thing that concerns me is our bench.hopefully kids have put the time in and it won't be a problem for us.our starting five is solid. I think CC only lost 1 starter and he may have been the least productive one of the five. But I agree with xlegend that, at this time, with the Willard schedule they should be favored in every game.

Where will Norwalk game be played? At Norwalk This will be a good game as well, Norwalk should be solid. However, I think they will struggle to score points at times. They had this issue last year and Haraway always came up with a big play. No Haraway this year means bigger struggles offensively.

Norwalk might struggle to score at times, but nobody plays better defense that Steve's teams do. They are so fundamentally sound that they can stay in every game they play. I look for Lacy and Chapin to get a lot of touches. Will be a fun game to watch with two great teams.

"Steve" is not known for coaching good defense, but rather controlling the pace on the offensive side which can limit the opportunities his opponent has. He can take up a minute with every possession.

We can agree to disagree, I have watched a ton of Norwalk film, their defense is so good, yes the number of possessions help those numbers but when you break down the film his teams are always in the correct spots, great close outs, help side, rotations, ect... He and his staff know how to coach them up.

Those are all things that every coach should probably be doing. What I meant was if you have ever talked to him, heard him talk or read an interview you would know he is always planning around ball control and tempo. He never promotes defense as a major strategy of a game. This dates back almost 30 years until now. You have those Ridgedale films?
