Why is there no Columbian thread on here? They played Toledo Waite last week and there was nothing. They play Ashland this week and nothing. Did they leave the SBC? Just asking.

We don’t put threads on teams whose coaches break the rules in the off season

It was a simple question. You may want to work on your people skills.

Lol, no idea about Colombian, people skills are overrated but am a little irritated at Colombian methods. It’s almost like they are trying to violate rules like private schools. Except they usually get away with It.

I'll answer that with a quote of myself from a couple years ago, with emphasis on the last line: Note, I have edited the title of this thread to what you could have typed yourself.

Sadly these threads as a whole are not very active. I posted a lot about a game I went to on Friday and was met with crickets. TC fans are non-existent here sadly.

The sad part about it is that I can see TC in the hunt for a SBC Championship late in the season. A lot of talent on that team that’s going to translate into a shellacking against Ashland. No rest for the weary Arrows the next few weeks....

TC fans are non-existent here sadly. There are Columbian fans on here, just most of us prefer not to go on and on about our team and let the results speak for themselves.

The full team workouts going through plays at the Hemminger Center on Sundays. Been a common practice since the Lutz era.

The other 2 pictures had like 15 players and the players recognizable seemed to be JV. They lost 3 days of 2-a-days from it. Columbian was faster and more physical then Fremont and Waite. Still playing with their back-up Quarterback who is coming off a broken back from a Pole-Vaulting accident. The reason for Columbians turn around has nothing to do with walk-throughs in a gym.

So it must of been ok then? Regardless, they violated the OHSAA rules regarding these workouts, right? Didn't need any of this to beat Ross, Waite or even Ashland this week. Start and Vermilion are both similar outcomes. The turn around has to do with the kids they have right now - much better than 3-4 years ago.

This game should be over pretty quick. Ashland just doesn't have it this year which is very disappointing. It's been a long times since I have seen an Ashland team that just doesn't have any play-makers on offense. Its only two games, but Ashland is on pace to have its worst offensive year in probably 17-18 years. Even in some down years in the past the team has still scored points. Add to that the secondary for Ashland is non existent, if you have a decent passing game you will score on Ashland. Unless things change dramaticly Ashland is looking at starting 0-4 for the first time since 2001 when they went 1-9.

Boys and girls, just remember this cliche; if you aren't cheating, then you aren't trying. ;p
Again, I will dispute TC being faster than Ross, but certainly much more physical. SBC Lake had an edge in that area.

🍿🍿🍿 Does anyone still have the footage from the Instagram post that landed T.C. in hot water with the "illegal" conditioning... it was pretty good evidence that it wasn't just work outs.

I watched the video and pictures. Regardless they lost 6 practices because of it. Any team they play got six more practices during summer. It's over! Just play ball.

bring the popcorn this is getting good. Would Tc fans be okay with other schools in the Lake having the same style practice?
also, they made up for their 6 lost practices without pads in January through March on Sundays, they actually got more practices in if you think about it.
Bold move Cotton.
on a side note, Tiffin rolls into league play 5-0 and will compete with Norwalk for the title week 10. it may end up being shared, but it comes down to these two with Sandusky hanging right in there.
Prediction for this game
TC 35 Ashland 7

I’m not sure he even played defense. I know he had a big cast on his arm that night.

He has been playing Safety. He broke his thumb a couple weeks before the season.
