D4 Region 14 Semifinal - 7pm Saturday at Tiffin
The last time these two met was 2010, in a D3 R10 quarterfinal that Clyde hosted and won 21-6.

Wonder if Clyde will take advantage of Tiffin continuing to practice by going to their indoor facility and maybe doing some 7 on 7 or live drills?, lol

Lol! Clyde could just relocate for the week. Continue to practice right along side TC and then get to play their next rd playoff game in their home stadium!

Clyde will be the home team because they beat the #1. The team on the top line of the bracket will always be the home team regardless of seed.

Not a neutral site. Doesn't matter but fits ohsaa needs.

Yes it's closer for Clyde but I don't think the kids care that much. I think most are just happy to have another week to play and don't care where the game is played. The OHSAA can't please everyone. It's impossible. Someone will gripe about something. This type of thing from the OHSAA isn't uncommon. I didn't hear the Bellevue posters complain much when the regional final against Shelby in 2017 was at Ashland.
One thing the OHSAA should get rid of is the top team on the bracket being the home team. It should be changed to the highest seeded team. That's a legit gripe for Shelby but I feel there is adequate seating at Frost-Kalnow.

Last two home games, Shelby home side hasn’t been half full. I don’t think seating will be an issue. I don’t think the home/visitor thing is that big of a deal to the players. They’re just happy to be playing another week.

Y'all, the "oh no Shelby has to drive ALL the way to Tiffin" crowd is annoying me. It's Shelby. Have you ever been to Shelby? Outside of Meijer, Lowes, and top notch eateries like Fazolis, you have to drive a half hour to get anywhere that has remote entertainment value. And to Tiffin? I've had longer dumps than that. I know I'm not alone in that sentiment, considering Ted & Ali's is basically a laxative service for the senior citizens in town. It's a 25 minute longer drive than the Clyde folk have. That's 5-6 songs at best. Which I know will be using those 5-6 songs blaring Eye of the Tiger at progressively louder intervals.

^ Not to mention the the fact that a drive to Tiffin is something the busses and fans from Shelby used to do several times per year for 63 school years

I hear the mini monster is out for his 200yds this week since he didn't quite get it against Edison thanks to a holding call.

Not a neutral site. Doesn't matter but fits ohsaa needs. What do you mean it's not a neutral site? It's not either team's home field. I know exactly what you're getting at, but a site will always be closer to one school than the other.

In 2007, Shelby played Big Walnut in week 12 at one of the Olentangy schools (I think Liberty). You want to talk about skewed neutral sites, we had to drive past Big Walnut's exit on the highway to get to the stadium.

I'll jump on the bandwagon, Clyde wins because they're the home team, Not because of the shorter drive, LOL.

Clyde wins because they don’t have to drive as far. lol I agree that 20 min less bus ride will be the difference.

While we're at it, no one wants to mention the advantage Clyde already having played at Frost-Kalnow this season?
Anyone?
