I remember reading this past week, that OSU SOS is better than the top 9 teams, going into Saturdays games.

Vogel Ranking spreads for the rest of the regular season for Ohio State -61 @ Rutgers (Vegas has OSU -51.5) -16 vs Penn St -16.5 @ Michigan
These are current, not what my rankings had back before the game but what the spread currently would be now and how OSU actually did -42 vs FAU - W 45-21 (24 pt win) -27 vs Cincy - W 42-0 (42 pt win) -34 vs Indiana - W 51-10 (41 pt win) -45 vs Miami O - W 76-5 - (71 pt win) -41 vs Nebraska - W 48-7 - (41 pt win) -37 vs Mich St - W 34-10 - (24 pt win) -52 vs Northwestern - W 52-3 - (49 pt win) -18 vs Wisconsin - W 38-7 - (31 pt win) -56 vs Maryland - W 73-14 - (59 pt win)
And if you look at the 1st post on this thread my rankings have Ohio State as a double digit favorite on a neutral field vs everyone and Sagarin has it almost exactly the same. Hopefully Ohio State continues to play at this extremely high level.

These are worthless. 8-0 Minnesota beats 8-0 Penn State, the #4 ranked team. Penn State stays at #4, Minnesota is #8

Thanks for your opinion.
I wonder what would have happened if Minnesota had to play at Penn State? Hmmm?

So many things are factored in, that the average fan has neither the knowledge, insight, capabilities, or interest to even comprehend. Together, they are very revealing and quite often, running contrary to initial perceptions. The CFP committee has access to these wide array of computations, as just one tool towards arriving at their mutually agreed upon findings each week.

Thanks for your opinion. I wonder what would have happened if Minnesota had to play at Penn State? Hmmm? Hmmm....one can "wonder" from now until eternity, no one will ever know. What we know for certain is computer ratings were 2 TDs and a Field Goal off in the game. "Wondering" would be just as wrong if played at Penn State. Vegas odds were closer by a TD.
