As I’ve said before the best game for team building is the game you barely win. IMO the second best is the game you barely lose. Then comes you blowing someone out. Last is losing big. So ideally you schedule teams that are going to challenge you and you barely win them all. All this is just a part of the puzzle. Your schedule ALONE does not determine your tournament run. Coaching, heart, illness/injury, a little luck all factor in. Some of you just use some of this stuff to hash out old rivalries. Bottom line is US is still playing basketball. Bet those couple of suspended lunkheads are rethinking their decisions.

Wrong AGAIN. In the year of 2014 Upper never played any game with Lexington. Also the N10 did not begin until the 14-15 season, but none of those teams that beat Upper in the tournaments were in the N10 so the N10 is not responsible. The N10 appear to have prepared Upper better to win the 2020 district title better than the SBC did for Norwalk. Wow you’re non stop I was wrong about 13-14 however N10, NCC (tomato-tomatoe) doesn’t change my point no matter what N league with tiny schools. As for being more prepared not fair too judge Uppers limited troops however they were 24-1 and should’ve (in fact did) lose to a 7th seeded team with a losing record. Also Norwalk had 7 losses it’s not like it was the 2014 squad out there. Let’s just agree that we disagree on this one. Norwalk had 8 losses. Don't forget they lost to an N10 team.

credit to US for not giving up in the 4th down 9-10.. Their seniors would not quit. Young then McCreary and in the end Montgomery... All played the way win or lose you want to seniors play in that situation. Uppers style of play took Chapin out of the game somewhat but Will was great in the second half for Norwalk. They will be one of the top inside/outside tandems in the area next year.

Congrats to former Tiger coaching legend Jeff Winslow on his first district title at Upper. He has done an exceptional job over there, this season especially.
