Cavs got worked tonight by a team missing their best player(Levine) and another top player(Ball). Defense was optional.

Jarrett Allen didn’t play well today that was a big factor . Happens long season onto the next. I still believe though a trade for a scoring guard/shooter for rubios expiring and picks does no harm. Altman will find someone between now and deadline.

Cavs now just lost Lauri what looks like for the season most likely. Playoffs this year is just a cherry on top. Running out of bodies next year is the year to look at.

That looks like a broken ankle. He turned it completely on its side. Just sad the potential this team had.

They said during the game it’s a sprain.

Cavs down bodies in Jarrett Allen and Lauri still find ways to win. The future is bright for Cavs basketball.

THIS TEAM. DG is 22, Okoro could legally drink just starting yesterday, Lauri is 24, Mobley can’t legally drink, Jarrett Allen is 23. The now and future is more than bright for Cleveland basketball.

The problem is all of these guys are going to need paid. I know the NBA has rules where you can go over the cap to keep "your own", which invokes the luxury tax. Gilbert was never shy about paying that tax when Lebron was in town and the teams was making the NBA Finals. Would he be willing to do so again? Would he be willing to do it if the team wasn't necessarily in the Finals? For now though, this team is just fun to watch.

Love will be off your books after next year, Mobley doesn’t need to be paid for 2 more years after this year, DG is getting max this off-season, sextons deal if they keep him won’t be a max anymore. Okoro ? That’s the one idk how it will play out.

Cavs just lost to one of the worst teams in the league.

Horrible loss for the Cavs tonight. Especially after starting up 15-0 thought they would run away with it. Basketball however, is an 82 game season will lose some bad games once in awhile. Just don’t let it become a trend.

Garland is questionable tonight against the Pelicans with (Lower back soreness) If he can't go will be tough for Cavs to secure a win. Back-court scoring is already a noticeable weakness when DG plays. Would be a brutal 2 game losing streak in two games the Cavs should have handled easily.

I thought Rondo would be more of a help than what he has been.

I didn't realize Rondo was washed-up either, but he is.

I’m ok with them trading Cedi Osman too.

Without Garland I knew it would be ugly glad they came away with the win. And I agree on the Rondo takes and thought the same thing that he would give a little more than this but he just hurts the Cavs when he is on the floor. Goodwin gives better minutes, he was the spark that won this game. I keep stressing a trade for some type of combo guard whether that’s Eric Gordon, Levert, maybe even Dennis Schroeder at this point who I know the Celtics want to move off of. Someone is needed.

I haven't liked Rondo in years. There is a reason he couldn't get off the bench for the crappy Lakers. Schroeder isn't much better.

It’s always been known that Rondo isn’t much of a shooter or scoring threat but I thought he’d at least give a little better minutes here than he has so far. Maybe that’ll change.

Just don’t let it become a trend. What you saw from the Pistons is how the rest of the NBA going forward will play the Cavs tall, but slight of build line up. Blatantly mauling the Cavs on defense not caring how many foul shots they gave up. As the Cavs rank 22nd in team free throw shooting. Which killed them against the Pistons.

Cavs look defeated right now. Squeaked out a win last game and now struggling with Houston. They really need Garland and Markennin back.
Rondo just flat out sucks. Goodwin is better.
Love has lost his three point shot lately.

Osman ended the first half with an air balled floater from about 5 feet. Nice.

Rondo could be worst player in the NBA, JB could be most stubborn coach in NBA both drive me batty. Mobley has been playing way too many min at his age and past playing time in his career. I'd venture he's played more min this season than his last 3 combined.(college & HS) His legs looked whipped. JA sits way too long when in foul trouble...save 4-5-6 when you are down 25 in the 4th??

This team goes as Garland goes. Without him after the Rubio injury you have Rondo and Goodwin as ball handlers. Won’t get the job done even against the worst in the league.

Another bad loss. Seems like we say that too much about this team.
And with the way our backcourt is, I think it shows how valuable it will be to have both sexton and garland.

Sexton even with all the wins the Cavs have accumulated and all the expectations they have surpassed without him is still very much needed for this team and they were 7-4 to start the season before he went down... it wasn't like they were playing bad ball with him. Could really use his scoring on this team. His injury is the reason the Cavs are exploring options for a guard opposite of Garland that can score.

I understand your concern with Mobley playing too many minutes but he played one of his best games of the season yesterday he wasn't the issue. He had 29 pts on 12/20 shooting and 12 boards.
